I've seen several shows here. While the theater is nice. The seats are aweful. As a larger guy they squeeze my sides and elbow room between you and your neighbors is a pipe dream. Would be nice if they would modernize the seats for real people.

Just returned from The Nutcracker Ballet, great seats and staff very friendly! However, no coat check is available, which is unfortunate in winter months when you have to deal with bulky jackets at your seat. This would be a great revenue maker for the student union, why isn't this offered? No announcement when the show is starting, the lights suddenly go out and curtain lifts immediately. There should be a bell or dimming of lights like tradition. Also, they allow people to walk in 10 minutes into the performance, which is more than annoying.

Atmosphere and lighting is great, the seats are about average in terms of comfort. The audio is in need of some loving, struggling to deliver even FM radio caliber music playback and loaded with distortion. Either the PA bins are roaches or the amp tuning is bad, but certainly there's an issue there

Really nice theatre for panels and events. The sound is great and does not echo, while the smaller size of theatre makes any event held here more intimate. I am looking forward to attending another event here after the pandemic is over.

Sound quality is wonderful since it's a small theatre. Even though all the seats are low you still have a clear great view of the stage. Perfect for smaller bands with good acoustics if you're looking to really listen for lyrics. I would recommend seeing concerts or small events here.

Great location, audio and perfect for cultural events. I was there for the showing of Ulam: Main Dish, a great documentary of Filipino Cuisine. I enjoyed the experience and I like the fact that it’s inside the U of A campus with lots of parking (after school)! The ushers are also very friendly and accommodating especially for this event where food was served before the film showing.

I realize I'm a large mammal, but the seat rows, and the seats themselves were a bit tight. Otherwise, the staff were pleasant and it was easy to get to by transit. It was a great speech, during alumni weekend. I will definitely go again, if there is something that catches my fancy.

Came to see Sasha Velour show and it was very well organized for the meet and greet. However by the time we managed to go downstairs for a quick snack, most restaurants were closed. We did get free chips and salsa from Bar Burrito. Awesome.

So much to like about this theatre, been performing here since I was in band and still going here to watch my little siblings perform. Every seat here has a good view of the stage and will be able to hear it clearly. If you're hungry, there's a small food court downstairs. My only negative opinion on the theatre is that the employees running the show will change most of the time depending on who's running the show. Keep that in mind when you visit for on show and are disappointed in the staff, you most likely won't see the same person at a different show.
