PLATINUM CAR & TRUCK RENTAL

Very poor customer service. Ridiculous prices. Owner/manager is very rude and likes to cuss at customers when angry. I rented a vehicle from them that was reported stolen by the previous person who rented it and they still rented it out to me while it was still reported stolen. I had cops with guns drawn on me and was scared for my life. Stay far away from this rental company they are very corrupt people.

From the minute we walked into the office, we were treated royally by the gentleman there. I complimented him after all the paperwork was complete as this type of customer service is not always offered.Oh and the car was almost brand new and had absolutely no problems whatsoever. My only concern was that it was difficult to find the rental place.

I called one week in advance for a car I needed for one day, they said they had one available for me and to call them when I'm on the way there ti pick it up. When I called they told me they gave it to someone else because they wanted it for a longer period of time. This isn't the first time they have done this to me either. The only reason why I called them this time, is because all car rentals were booked for when I needed it.

I rented genesis g70 for my replacement rental and it was clean and nice car. They did excellent service. Keep it up guys.

Platinum car rental is one of the best and trustable companies in Toronto to rent cars. The owner Satheesh is a down-to-earth man. He is very polite to each customer. I met him twice and both times he gave me great deals for luxury cars, which I won't get at any other place.

This car rental company prays on people who are renting cars with insurance after car accidents. They made up all sorts of lies to try and get as much money as possible. Honestly just go with Enterprise. This place is so shady, if you're renting a car because you've been in a car accident they require you to rent for a minimum of 5 days which they never mentioned before and this is nowhere on the agreement either. When we asked where it says on the agreement. They said they didn't know and it's on there somewhere. They are completely unprofessional and started yelling at my partner when he questioned them.They also have another random charge of $250 if you return the car early. I'm not sure what early means when we never agreed on an end date. On our original agreement they put an arbitrary date of one day after our rental started and we return the car after 4 days so I'm not sure why they were trying to charge us an additional $250. In the end they didn't charge us for this because they had no grounds to stand on but still charged us for 5 days instead of 4.The car smelled like smoke. The inspection is done is a very dark garage so it's hard to see all the scratches that were already on the car. Make sure you make a very detailed video with flash on to point out all the scratches. Not sure why a company would yell at customers just because they are asking legitimate questions unless they are trying to hide something.Also they wouldn't provide an invoice for us to provide to insurance so this is all a huge mess. They only provided a receipt which doesn't break down all the charges and rates per day and all the additional random charges they added, all the receipt shows in the total we paid with our credit card.BE CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY
