Hoang Thy Nails

Thought I'd try out a new place in Leaside before my trip. Hoang Thy nails was a very bad choice of salon. Took the young girl over 45 minutes to get my nails clipped and cuticles done (POORLY) As you can see in the photos, I have a bleeding toe, uneven nails and the large toe isn't filed properly. Also, I have some sort of goop still on my heel. I didn't make a fuss, I will never go back. I guess you get what you pay for. Do not go here!

I did gel and shellac with them 4 days ago look at my nails!! Very disappointedI called her and ask if she can fix it she said come at 6 , I ended up waiting one hour and not satisfied at all, dont go there

I found this place by walking by it everyday with my daughter. I’ve tried multiple nail salons in the area since I’ve moved here and honestly, this one is by far the best one and a hidden gem.I didn’t catch her name, but I went there on Sunday at 12:30 to do a shellac polish change and the younger girl with glasses who did my nails did an excellent job. The shaping is perfect, she fixed two of my nails that were really broken, she was gentle and she didn’t rush the service.The owner is a joy to be around. She’s full of energy and very welcoming.I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a salon where they actually care about their work and don’t rush the service.I will be making this my go to place going forward.

Came in with a nail injury, and Rose really did such a fantastic job in fixing my nails. I'm really impressed. She did an exceptional job on the shape of my nails too (better than where I normally go to) and her service was very friendly. I will definitely be coming back for my next appointment! I have also come here for a pedicure and the service was great.For reference, I get manciure & pedicure gel overlay/refills.

Since the pandemic this has been the first time I visited a nail salon. Specifically the Hoang Thy Nails and Spa salon. I got these nails on Tuesday (July 6th). I was very happy about the results. The staff was very friendly. This is my go to nail salon. I love coming with my family for some nail time. The staff always treats us good and does a great job. I will be looking forward to my next visit!

For years I have had pedicures and until today, never had one that I did not appreciate. The one today however was such a disappointment. I work in the area and had some time before my shift started. I was the only person in the shop as it was early morning. The inexperienced person took all of 10 minutes before putting on a colour. When I inquired as to why such little time had been spent i.e no use of a file (or razor) to exfoliate, the person working provided little response. When I asked when the owner would be on site, I was told that the owner only comes to the shop once a week leaving me to understand I could not provide feedback directly...hence using this space to share that I would never come back.

I was able to walk in without an appointment and get a Mani Pedi done.Had a great experience.2 nail techs worked on me at different points. They were efficient, kind and thorough.The only thing I didn't like was paying before my nails were done because I would have tipped better knowing how good the experience would be!Place was clean and prices are great.Will definitely return!

They are so fast! Got shellac mani done in 30min! It’s is always well done and pretty!

Absolutely IN LOVE with Rose and Michelle!! If you’re looking for 2 beautiful hearted woman who happen to be fantastic nail techs look no further. Great prices and Rose is always putting a smile on my face. Became a regular after two great experiences :)
