Dollarama

The cashier on May 23rd, 2023, at approximately 1:40pm, displayed a dire need for a reality check and an adjustment in attitude. I observed this individual exhibiting an egregiously impolite and condescending demeanor towards each customer in the queue. Despite their youth, likely no more than 20 years old, they appeared to harbor a profound disdain for their own existence and projected this dissatisfaction onto the patrons at the register. While I understand that employment at a discount retail establishment may not provide immense fulfillment or generous compensation, it is crucial to commence one's professional journey with dedication, striving for excellence, and cultivating a positive work record that facilitates future career prospects. Everyone must initiate their ascent from somewhere.This particular individual exhibits a sense of entitlement that is perhaps attributable to an unfavorable upbringing, although speculation is futile. Regrettably, their current trajectory will not lead to success in life. When my turn arrived, the cashier directed a disapproving gaze in my direction, creating an atmosphere of profound discomfort. Furthermore, they inexplicably placed all the items I purchased behind my basket, contrary to the customary practice observed at every Dollarama I have frequented. Consequently, they continued to stare at me without uttering a word. Perplexed, I inquired about the location of my belongings, prompting the cashier to awkwardly tuck them tightly beside the basket instead of relocating the basket itself, as is customary among their colleagues. Seizing my possessions, the cashier brazenly raised their voice and declared, YOUR BASKET!" At that point

This Dollarama is clean and well organized, seasonal items were up to date and plentiful.

Good store too pick up a few things. Not really a dollar store, more like lots of dollars store. Have never seen it super busy so a quick in and out in a few minutes is a plus.

I love all the Dollaramas. You can find some really fun things in here. Love the useful storage items. I've learned my lesson on buying kitchen utensils from here though. They usually just fall apart.

Great location. The staff are friendly and the isles are well organised and clean. As a college student, it's great to have access to a wide variety of reasonably priced items. Basically all the bad reviews for this location are just other customers being genuinely impatient.

Generally it's a decent place but mark up is sad... same item I bought about 2 weeks ago was $4. Suddenly they're all $4.75 now? Corporate really needed that extra 3 quarters huh?

The store had everything we were looking for and the staff was very helpful in finding things and were very friendly and courteous. Recommend going there, you won't be disappointed

My 3 year old daughter needed to use the bathroom. I had to argue with the staff to get them to allow her to use the bathroom.
