I had a great experience with Alex Yu from Canada Energy Audit Ltd. He came over to my home and starts going through his routine check of my house. Alex does not waste time and completes work efficiently. He has exceeded my expectations.I will definitely give Alex a 5 stars reviews.

The auditor came in all smiling and informative, but as other reviews have already pointed out ,either them or the collaborated company" they deal with had held my rebate for six months during which I painfully have to asked for status update and was told to wait patiently (like my own fault). Is there a conspiracy that they hope clients forget about these rebates? I don't know but not a company I want to deal with again."

Do not use this company for your energy audit! I had my post retrofit done back in November and still waiting for confirmation from the government website. Every time I follow up, I’m told there are issues with the file need to wait another two weeks, another two weeks…it’s now been four months and still no progress. Absolutely unacceptable! Today I called the company and asked if I could speak with a manager, I was told that the manager does not have a phone number and only the receptionist is in the office. Stay away from this company and use another one instead.

We had a heat pump installed in June 2022 and used CEA for the Energy audit. Safe to say it has not been a good experience overall as it's now been a full year, and we still don't have the $5000 rebate.We've been following up routinely with emails and calling since November and have had no progress or any sign of a resolution anytime soon. When we first started following up we realized t that our address for the grant was inputted incorrectly and after the first month of follow ups it was fixed. Since, we've continuously been told multiple times it takes 30 days for Greener Homes to respond to requests. Even after an additional 6 months, we've yet to receive a response.We've been told to call the Greener hones Grant, they state that our application was approved and cheque had been issued, which we never received. Which we are told to contact their billing department through email, which we've done for multiple months without response.Now for the past few months we've been calling both, and have gotten absolutely nowhere. I'm past the point of frustration and anger, and close to the point of accepting that we may never see the $5000 rebate as it appears to not be a priority.

Would recommend to everyone, knowledgeable, friendly and most importantly very honest.He was incredibly experienced and genuinely helpful as he inspected my home. He walked with me through all the details of what needs to be done, clearly pointed out big deal vs minor, and showed great patience for my beginner’s questions. Owen helped out with the final inspection for our home for the Greener Homes refund for our new windows. He stepped in after our first guy did the initial inspection, who was also great. Owen went over and above anything he was required to do and was always quick to answer any of my inquiries. I highly recommend!

I am very happy with Michael Zhou, the Energy Auditor from CEA; I was an applicant for the old Greener Home Grant program and Michael helped me to convert to the new HER+ program. The process was completely done in a timely manner, and as soon as I had the new furnace and heat pump installed. Michael came back and did the final audit for me quickly. Thanks Michael for all your help, I am now just waiting for the rebate cheque from Enbridge.

The evaluation advisor (Jean) is really nice and did the great job. However, the company hasnt posted the post retrofit evaluation result after two months of the evaluation did. I tried to reach out the company through phone and text message, but no response! The delay of posting the result will affect our greener home grant issuance as well as getting interest charge by our installer. Not too sure how this company works, but would not recommend their service.

I cannot recommend this company. It took a long time to complete the application process, we still have not received our rebate months after completing the retrofits, and they charged multiple additional fees that were not communicated up front.Update: still dealing with more issues from the person who conducted my audit. He failed to submit one of the required forms, and only gave it to me when I followed up a month after he claimed to have submitted the final rebate application. There is only one phone number, and the management is evasive and difficult to get in touch with. AVOID THIS COMPANY.
