Classic Towing

I was stranded on the side of the road and needed assistance. Thankfully a team member of this company offered to tow my car for free to a local gas station. He didn’t want to leave me alone in the dark. He waited about an hour for the police to come and didn’t mind waiting at all. Very impressed with the customer service here and the generosity this company has to offer. I am extremely grateful for the young man who assisted me last night.

Had an issue on the road which was nearly impossible to deal with as my car was in a ditch and most professionals I spoke to and even had visit the site could not get it out, Zack came within minutes of us contacting Classic towing in Barrie and was ableTo get the vehicle out in one peace and treated myself and my children with such manners and respect, and most of us made us feel assured that all will be fine!! Had to have my car towed this morning to my service station. CAA sent Owen and his partner (sorry, I didn’t catch your name) from Classic Towing. They were fast, friendly and efficient. Owen is the first driver to ask about my towing hook to make sure there was no chance of damage to my car. He also asked how long my husband would be in picking me up so I didn’t have to stand in the cold too long. Excellent service!

My Mother's Day ended with my car failing on the 400 Hwy. Luckily, Chris (B14) arrived 20 minutes after I called CAA.Chris was safe and efficient in loading my car onto his Tow-Truck and got me to a mechanic in no time. Thank you for the great work!

Wow, your man who picked me up at RVH when my car broke down was awesome. He drove me to the Mazda dealership in grand style making me feel right at home. I appreciated the service when l was stuck from out of town.

My car broke down on the 400S in the midst of freezing rain. I contacted CAA and luckily they dispatched Classic Towing to my location. Chris B14 from Classic Towing in Barrie was absolutely awesome!! He found me when the CAA driver couldn't locate me. He came quickly considering it was rush hour, he was very knowledgeable, polite, professional, courteous and kind. He found me in North Barrie and towed my truck all the way to my mechanic in Toronto. He is an impecable driver, service man and above all a great human being! I pray I never need a tow again, but if I do I would highly suggest calling Classic Towing in Barrie directly if you don't have CAA. Actually, even if you do have CAA ask them if they can dispatch you someone from Classic Towing in Barrie and ask for Chris B14 because he's the absolute best!I promise you, you'll be pleased you did!

By far the best towing experience I've had. B14 Chris was very professional and helpful. Came within 10-15 minutes of calling for a tow. Not only did he know what he was doing, his attitude also cheered me up after my accident.

After an accident on HWY 400 south in December 2022 I was helped out tremendously by Classic Towing, and in particular the driver Zachery, who was stellar in giving me all the right info at the time I needed it. Zach was able to contact me on my cellular before he arrived and helped me to avoid the vulture-drivers that try to poach CAA calls. Despite my car being a complete write-off he was able to have it loaded up in minutes after having set me up to wait in his pleasantly warm truck. I had experienced what I thought was going to be the death of me and it was Zach’s calm nature and genuine hospitality that kept me from falling apart mentally. And he even drove me to my front door out of concern for my well being. Spectacular.

The second time my CAA tow has been through classic towing, this first time after 8 hours of waiting we cancelled, called another tow company and we’re home 40 minutes later. This time the driver went to the wrong location then proceeded to go to the tow destination and wait there for 45 minutes with no attempt to contact at all. Spent an hour on call with CAA trying to resolve the situation with zero communication from the driver. Genuinely the most useless company and I’m baffled as to how they are allowed to operate as a CAA towing company let alone still in business. To anyone who does attempt to use them you have my sympathy and I hope you get your car towed that day and, for you on good, by a different company
