The most beautiful beach area on Cortes Island, in my opinion. There is a trail walk into the beach area, but it is very flat and easy to navigate. The water is so clear, a beautiful blue colour, and easy to swim because it is quite calm. There is a ton of typical beach areas"

Hanks Beach Forest Conservation Park
One of the nicest beaches in explored, no joke. Tons of nature, sealife, eagles, shellfish, arbutus on the cliffside, white sandy beaches...Very short accessible trail, easy for kids and families. No picnic tables, though, so bring your own amenities. There is one small outhouse by the beach.

This place is beautiful with big rocks and patches of sand. It's about a 12 minute hike in from the parking lot. One of my favorite spots on the island

One of the most peaceful places I've been if not the most peaceful. Lots of rocks to climb which is fun and lots of birds to admire. The view is amazing and I won't get enough of it. Must visit Hanks!! saludos al Parrita.

Well worth the short walk to get there. I found a purple starfish on the beach. Quiet...nobody else around except us.

A hidden gem on Cortes. It’s a short walk to a beautiful piece of beach. Watch carefully and you may just see a humpback whale in between here and the island directly across. :)
