We ordered an egress window from Herr window & door for our basement this past spring and we are so pleased with it! From the beginning, Randy was excellent to deal with - answered all my questions and the window was ready as promised on time. As we live in northern Alberta, we picked up the window and had it installed by a local window contractor. The contractor said it was very easy to install and we love the look and the quality workmanship that went into the window. Thank you so much, Randy.

Randy at Herr Windows and Doors has many years of experience in the window and door business. He has the knowledge and expertise to be able to work on non standard older house construction. We are very pleased with the quality of the new door and frame and installation. The older house original plaster was not damaged and still returns to the frame. I only needed to do a bit of paint touch up. Thank you Randy.

We are very pleased with our EGRESS windows. They are very practical and more economical than having foundation cut etc. They are very functional and also attractive. Randy was very accomodating for us to pick them up. We certainly recommend Herr and these windows.

Purchased a door from Randy today. Very nice guy with a lot of knowledge. Also love that he refurbishes old doors and turns them into something with new life. I will definitely be buying my other doors and windows from him!

We ordered our egress window from Randy, and had it shipped to Winnipeg. Randy was a great help, and answered all the questions I had. The window seems well built and I'm sure will last a long time. They secured the window very well for shipping and it came without a scratch. If your looking for an economical way to add an egress window without cutting your foundation check with Randy and see if he can make you one. Review posted by Kevin

We purchased and egress window for a basement suite where we were very limited in outdoor space for an egress path. The Herr egress window was the only window that fit the needs for our project.The sale for the house we intended on installing the window at fell through after we had purchased the window and it had been manufactured. Randy worked with us diligently to try and resell the window on our behalf. 2.5 years later he still remembered us and found a customer.While I have no experience with the actual window, the service and commitment from Randy was top notch in all aspects helping us recover some of our costs

I was looking for a particular egress window and happened to find Herr Window and Door Company online. I am from the USA and contacted Randy from Herr. He was very kind and helpful and walked me through the whole process of measuring, and ordering the window. I had many questions about the process, but he was always willing to help. When our window was shipped from Canada, all the way to us in USA, we received it quickly, and also, Herr crated it so carefully, that the window was received without a scratch., and was beautiful. We highly recommend Herr to anyone who needs a window. We are very pleased.:)

Recently ordered and installed a Therma-Tru Classic Craft Oak Fiberglass front door from Randy. He and his team did a custom stain for the door and jamb. Was an amazing experience and results were better than expected. After 20year with original steel door to this. When dropping off, neighbor thought it was actually a wood door. Would get all my door from them.

We ordered three egress windows from HERR for our legal basement suite project and couldn't be happier with their product! These windows are very well made and the special egress design they offer avoided us the headache of having to cut into our foundation to make room for bigger windows! The customer service is also wonderful and they are very happy to help if you have questions for the installation. Highly recommend them. :)
