Mixed experience with MovX so I wanted to leave a review of the lessons we learned and our experience good and bad.The bad: they showed up 2 hours late without giving us any heads up, which kinda screwed our service elevator bookings, they didn’t have any kind of plastic/shrink wrapping - all the furniture was protected by carpets which resulted in some damage to our bed frame, and they when I called the next day to ask for an explanation they never followed up.The good: they sent 2 extra guys for the same price to make up for the lateness and to make things go faster, the cost was less than the quote, and all the employees we interacted with were extremely hardworking and nice.Overall not a terrible experience, but I’ve never hired other movers so I don’t know how this service compares.

I have moved 7 times in the last 7 years and this is the first time I used the same movers for a second time. My first experience with Movx was great but this one was even better. They came well prepared, made the move quick and efficient and even went the extra mile with moving furniture to multiple locations and coming back the next day for a small task that needed to be completed. Illen and his team are friendly, professional and really make moving a much less stressful task. I would happily use them again in the future.

My move out and in wasn't the same day but MovX took care of everything! They put my stuff in a storage facility and delivered them when it was time.Excellent service, friendly and very professional. They take great care of your stuff. The price is affordable as well. Will be very happy to use their services again. I highly recommend them!

I utilized Movx to move in December 2021 and overall I would strongly recommend not to use this provider. The first part of move went well and they arrived on time to pack up our belongings and were very courteous but there were several issues with the actual delivery:- they showed up over 5 hours late to our destination and this was due to “traffic” although we had made the drive the same morning and there was absolutely no traffic- they then proceeded to tell us that they would not be unpacking any of the items even though we had requested and paid for unpacking (this fee was later removed from the bill after complaining)- one of the movers was literally unable to lift anything because he said he had a hernia just two weeks before so one mover had to carry every single item which added several hours to the process- several of our items were damaged and it took over 6 months and around 20-30 communications to finally be reimbursed just for one itemUltimately we received our items and successfully moved but if you can find any other provider, I would avoid this company

Alex and Tony made my move seamless! They were professional , paid attention to detail and moved quickly upon arrival. The move was completed ahead of schedule and they kept me in the loop the whole time! Would absolutely use them again for a stress free experience

Good and bad things in my experience. The good thing was that the movers were very fast and very polite. The bad: they came more than an hour later because they were sent to another address downtown. When I called about this, they offered to add another person at no extra cost but not once this person said sorry". I was expecting some kind of discount for the delay but I was expected to pay the same. Some of the furniture had some scratches and dents here and there. Overall

This is the worst movers in toronto; schedules these guys 2 months ahead to help us move from Mississauga to kitchener; we called 3 days before the scheduled moving date; to our surprise no one picked up, we tried 4 different numbers; and no one picked up. Comes the day of moving; moving was schedule for 10am; we called 8am to see if they are coming; someone picked up and said they had glitch in their system so they have to reschedule it to the next 2 days. We told them we had book the place so we can’t postpone it. They send someone to the house to check our items without bringing a truck. Long story short. They ended up not helping us. We are asking for our deposit back. Please Do NOT use this company. Worst experience. Not professional; they don’t care about the job; they only wants to take your money.

Thank you for helping with my move! My movers arrived on time and were extremely respectful. They held the items with care and got the job done fast. I'm very happy with the services. Very professional and I will definitely be using them again in the future!

I recently had the worst movers experience with Movx.On day 1, they were 4 hours late to my condo unit. Prior to booking the appointment I made it clear that I needed to leave on time. Also the service elevators can be reserved for a certain period of time. Not only did they not inform me of the delay, it was hard to get hold of them to get an ETA update. The services was delivered by amateur movers, with no proper tools to dimantle the furniture so it took them close to 4 hours to get stuff (which was already packed) from a 1 room to another location which was only 5 mts away. By 9 pm I had to tell them to leave as it was very late.I called the manager Illhen Kekeh, to give him my feedback. He said he would provide a discount of $100 and will send a person to remove the rest of my stuff that was left behind. This was a solution for all the stress faced that day. Also I had to incur additional cleaning and other misc costs as I was sharing the space with another person who was also inconvenienced.On Day 2, Illhem himself decide to show up albeit an hour late and whilst moving my boxes dropped these from the trolley which also included my microwave. Not at all apologetic he half heartedly delivers the services and for anything else would charge extra. I told him to leave and he asked for my payment saying he needed this urgently as he had to leave for a 7 pm appt, which was a total lie! I paid him in 5 mts. Without checking his email, for the next 45 mts he harrassed me calling me, ringing my doorbell and blocking my driveway. I was close to calling the cops.Important to provide an overview before mentioning that Movx was pricey ($141+HST/hour), unprofessional (for the delay), disrespectful and lacked customer service (they believe in scheduling more orders then providing a good service to the customer (in their minds it is their right to keep the customers waiting).Whilst I was researching, the movers category market is very competitive so Movx please work on your service or be driven out!To my fellow movers, please don't go with this company. I may have been unlucky to have been serviced by Illhem but I am sure there are better more competitive companies that can manage your relocation needs.

Moving to a new province with 3 small kids is stressful enough as it is. I am so glad that we hired the Movx team to help us. They took a MASSIVE load off of our shoulders. They answered all of our questions, were very courteous and understanding. “Don’t worry about anything, we will take care of you” is what they said and that’s exactly what they did!I will be recommending this company to anyone who asks for a mover.
