Went in to purchase RRSP and accept Servus pre approved Mc". After dealing with the trainees teller

I've been a Servus member for 12 years and this location decided to hold a certified cheque that I deposited at a teller, for 7 business days leaving me with no accessible funds. I called in to the main phone line and complained. My home branch called me 5 minutes later and released the hold. Stick with your Home branch" people."

Went in the certify a cheque that was from another client of this bank and they refused to certify the cheque. Not only that, but the manager that was working at the time refused to even give me a reason as to why they couldn't do it. She kept saying, we just can't do that." She then went on to say that

Hi everyone,I would like to share my feedback about the advisor name Curtis Nordstrom, kindly consider this review if you are planning to visit the branch.I was there to open a Bank account, with Line of credit and a credit card on 26th January 2023, and we have booked an appointment for all three things, also mentioned the same thing to that advisor and prior to running credit check, before opening my chequing account he pretend to be positive about all three things, after actually hitting my credit even there wasn't any issue with it, he denied to apply LOC application on the same day, not sure why, he was very judgemental person and treating us like fraud, I have given all the information required including my pay stubs and reason for the LOC,I have clearly mentioned that let me know if you can't apply it today so that I can go to some other bank, he didn't mentioned anything before hitting my credit, clearly misleading and only working like a sales person not a financial advisor.On the second day 27th January 2023, I called in the morning he didn't picked up the call, and got back to me about in the evening forcing me to close my other accounts and make servus as a primary account in order to get approved for LOC, my question is why you didn't mentioned the same thing after checking my credit report on 26th January 2023, all details were in that report?When I brought that issue to the management, they were just trying to explain the same thing which I already knew and kinda protecting that person instead of addressing my concern.All I wanted to mention here, if you are planning to visit this branch please make sure you get everything in writing as they are never gonna accept their fault.Thank you !

Awful bank! My debit card has not been working on online shopping and I decided to close my account. It took a long time and I was treated very badly. I do not recommend at all.
