Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Firstly, their website shows wrongly that they have cars available, which they don't.Secondly, when I call to pick a reservation that was done by dealership, they keep postponing without giving at date or time for pick-up. Simply, will call you when a car is available!, and then hung-up. Haven't experienced such an unrespectable customer service.

Our SUV was stolen last week. Our insurance communicated with Enterprise on Youville Drive in Orleans to communicate our needs. Our insurance covers for same/similar/equivalent type of vehicle. Friday the 10th of Feb, 2023 an Enterprise employee communicated with me. My husband and I attend the following day (2023-Feb-11) to pick up our vehicle expecting no less than an SUV 4-Wheel Drive. Nope, we got a small vehicle. My husband is a tall man (6’2”), large build, and suffers from a sore back. For these reasons, and the fact that we live in a snowy winter climate… we choose to purchase 4-wheel drive SUVs. Therefore, when our insurance called for an update, I voiced my discontent. Insurance told me they communicated with Enterprise to have my rental changed and make it a “priority “(2 separate occasions). For this reason I held on to the vehicle to have it replaced… well that never happened. My husband left that car in our driveway since he struggled getting in and out of it. It sat there for almost 7 full days!Enterprise is a large franchise with several locations in the region. It is my opinion and belief that no efforts were made to accommodate us here. During these 7 days, no one called us. I returned the vehicle yesterday (2023-Feb-22). I regret not returning it immediately because I feel they should not of benefited from the income of this rental when they can’t accommodate. Be upfront and tell folks that it’s not going to happen… so we can take our business elsewhere! I have voiced my discontent with my insurance company and urged them to deal with a company that can meet the needs of their clients. This is unacceptable!Enterprise have sent me a survey on their performance and I was honest and to the point. They now know and can communicate with me because I’ve said they can give me a call for a follow up(they have all the info they need to get in touch with me). Therefore Enterprise, do not waist my time by replying with a generic response as I’ve read on the others who have complained. I don’t want a list of excuses, be prepared and hold your end… that’s it.

Hassle free booking, pickup, dropoff, and even got a ride back home! Could not have been easier. Car was clean and worked well too! Very nice staff.

My first negative review.I have zero trust in Enterprise Rent A Car after being a client.First off I have a zero deductible and at this point, my rant is not about money but about honesty and accountability.When returning the car I had rented I parked at the front door, not in a parking spot and went in a got a staff member.A staff member came out with me and we did a walk around inspection, took about 10-15 minutes looking over the entire car inside and out.I was told everything is fine and I was good to go.Asked if I should have any paperwork and was told no, once I press this button the car is back in our possession and anything from here forward is on us"Took Enterprise at their word and left.....big mistake on my part.2 days later I received an email indicating the car was damaged and it was my fault.Went into see the damage and to discuss the matter with the manager.What I found before going in to talk was that the front bumper was substantially damaged and the damage was very obvious and easy to see from 20 feet away.During the return I was looking as close as the enterprise staff

What a great experience from start to finish! Car was ideal for long road trip. Service when I picked it up was outstanding. Service upon return was equally excellent.All expectations were exceeded. Special thanks to Jacob, Jamie and Zach.

Excellent customer service, follow-up email making sure everything was satisfactory within 2 hrs of pick-up was appreciated! Drop off was quick and very efficient staff. Thank you for the positive experience.

My insurance company set up a rental for me to be brought to my house on a Saturday at 11am. No one ever came, I called 5 times with no answer each time before they closed. I had to resort to calling the 1-800 number to fix this issue because I was promised to have my rental by 11am on Saturday, but I knew I would’ve then had to wait until Monday (the next time they’re open). Absolutely ridiculous that something like this happens when it was all set up through insurance. Terrible service.

Booked for a weekend, and forgot that Saturdays they close at NOON. I call just before they close and arrived at 12:10 . They never pick up the phone , they do not call to confirm reservation or anything just leave you for dry. Luckily airport is 24 hrs and picks up all their slack gladly while giving you upgrades( no extra airport charges) Hopes this helps anyone !

They lie. You book a reservation, get there and there’s nothing available in all of eastern Ontario. But while they are soooo busy calling other locations you book a vehicle in minutes at the other orleans location after giving up because these Youville geniuses have spent an hour on the phone. Stay far far far away from these people
