Went here for the first time and the lady working at the cashier was rude!! Bought stuff for my parents and went to the till to pay, I politely ask the lady if i can have the senior discount due to their poster that was posted “senior discount everyday” but unfortunately the lady laughed at me saying you are not a senior!, but my parents are beside me, i’m just the one who’ll gonna pay for their stuffs, (paid $102.89) i can pay this amount without any discount its just said there senior discount everyday..the way she did in front of my parents and my 2 kids is unacceptable, you should not tolerate this kind of attitude in your company, I didn’t see her name tag but she is an old lady with a short hair. This will be our first and last visit. (September 24 , 2022 around 3:30pm)

Buyer beware of this organizations return/exchange policy. All products sold are donations however this business would not exchange for a store credit an amplifier my son purchased. I wish I could operate a business were you receive free product to sell and not offer credit for product that must not of been properly tested. Not sure how this is ethical? Should be criminal to sell items that don’t work, not tested and steal from their customer. They should repent for breaking the 8th commandment. Our family and friends won’t be supporting this fraudulent business anymore.

The lady at the register today March 18th 2pm is racist. She should not be working a desk. Has no customer service experience AT ALL!

Where to start. I love thrifting but not here. I don't think they have the infrastructure to take donations, in the past couple years they have refused my donations because; they were out of season (not according to VV or HFH), the person who priced the children's items was away, and worse, I moved my vehicle to the nearby parking lot and they threw my bags directly into the dumpster (I could have brought them to VV or HFH or somewhere else!) Also if items are missing price tags they won't price them for 24 hours, but the last time I went I had two items tagged as a pair and the cashier rang them through individually. I said the price tags says pair" and the cashier as SMUG as can be RIPPED off the price tags and said "well they were priced wrong". If she can decide what the prices are at the till why do we have to wait 24 hours for items to be retagged. Most employees there are great but I just can't go back anymore

I would not recommend shopping or donating to this Salvation Army location. They do not have change rooms available and won't even let you try on items in store (ie a jacket) over your clothes as it's against policy, which makes no sense. I don't understand the rational behind this. Apparently you can't try on clothes (even jackets, shoes, etc) but you can take them home and return them for a store credit only? How does this make sense? Most other retail stores allow customers to try on items before buying. My second issue with this store is their very rude staff. One associate was quite rude to me as I tried on a jacket over my shirt. Also, there was a customer inquiring about an item that was getting priced, she really wanted to buy an item but was responded very rudely by an associate that she was not able to buy it because it was not priced yet. She was not offered any alternative just an outright no!" This is not professional customer service.Thirdly

Again, you cannot try the clothes on, however the pricing is better and they offer a Senors discount.

The store should post a sign on the front door that says, “Buyer Beware.”I tried to take back a defective blu-ray movie but was told by the manager that exchanges were only allowed on clothing, footwear, bedding and linens. She added, “it says that on the receipt.” Actually the receipt doesn’t say anything that those are the ONLY items allowed. So I guess they feel that covers notifying customers of their return policy, AFTER they’ve purchased something. It’s pretty sad when Value Village has a better return policy for defective items than the Salvation Army. There’s other charities in town that I can support.
