Haha I don’t know who’s been pricing things the past couple years but it’s just getting worse and worse :p. Used George brand tshirts for $7 each when you can get a three pack of brand new ones for that much. This light thing is the perfect example. $4.99, it’s used, and missing the stand. The EXACT same one at the dollar store for $4 brand new :p

Please do not yell at workers because you dont like the prices at VV.No one wants to work these days and people who show up don't deserve it. Take it up with their head office.Having said that, there is a sign on the front door that says they are a FOR PROFIT corporation. Donate your things elsewhere if you would like your money to stay in the community.Prices are high here but there are still tons of good deals. Prices are high on mostly name brand stuff. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Prices are extremely high for what you are getting. Dollar store items being sold for higher price then new. Expect a lot of gross, dirty, and stained clothing items. However they have large selection of various items. From clothes to electronics, from books to household items. If your not afraid of getting a little dirty, you can find some hidden gems. Ladies that work the cash are very nice.

Disappointing. I struggled to find items I liked. When I found an item of clothing I liked (I was looking for shirts) they came with an 8 or $9 price tag. Light coats were $24. Very pricey for what their selling and compared to other thrift stores in area. We went to three on the same day. I much prefer to spend my time and money in some of the other smaller local thrift stores.

This is our favourite location, always great finds and friendly staff.A vouple of weeks ago, I was at the self checkout purchasing a small cabinet when a staff member noticed the price on my screen was $39.99 and categorized as an electronic. She felt that someone had switched the tag and lowered the price accordingly. She then also released two spiders that were inside and carried them to the parking lot. I didn't catch her name, but she was wonderful.

This location was one of the better Value Villages for prices on the island hut in the last couple of weeks the prices have gone up. Don't know if head office sent out a memo to up prices on certain things but barely any bargains to be had anymore. Disappointing, no longer a stop I look forward to.

They took the fitting rooms out of this store, and they still kept their horrendous return policy, which means you get one chance at an exchange if something doesn't fit. The return should be put on a gift card to be used anytime. Better yet put the fitting rooms back!!

It’s well organized enough, but filthy. They haven’t swept the dust out in months. It’s actually quite gross when all this artifact comes floating up in your face …

Fake stuff all throughout the store, found a fake Arc’teryx jacket for 80$ brought it up to the counter to let them know and the staff didn’t seem to care and proceeded to sell it for 80$ in their showcase. Place is turning into a joke
