This isn't your typical 12 step program, and this isn't 30+ Days of Don't Do Drugs". The staff are engaged kind and supportive without being pushovers. The doctors are all top notch and experienced, there’s so many methods available to explore and the facilities are well maintained. It’s been a life changing experience for me and If your at the end of your rope, and wanting to better yourself this is the place for you. The clients it attracts are all great guys to get to know too, you’ll make connections here that will last a lifetime.

I came to SCHC to figure out who the hell I am, and then love that person. From day one I was given every opportunity, tool, guidance to accomplish that. Every staff from doctors, nurses, client services, alumni, kitchen, housekeeping helped in any way possible as well. I appreciated how everyone knew I was on a mission and allowed me to find myself.The guys I met while staying there are some of the kindest, funniest people I’ve ever crossed paths with and am very grateful we all ended up there at the same time.Everything happens for a reason and I’m glad I started the SCHC journey when I did.Just remember you are all you’ll ever need to be, everything is inside you and have trust in your power, nothing can take that away from you no matter how hard you’ve convinced yourself this is the end.This is just the beginning, all my loveDustin

SCHC is one of a kind in my books 10 out of 10.I would never even consider going to any other facility.The care they provide is at the highest of standards; working with top and highly qualified specialists with many approaches and in their specific field.The beauty of this is that they get down to the core reason as to the 'WHY'S' and these specific treatments gave me the tools in my tool box to understand how to manage and deal with any if the 'HOW TO'S'By digging deeper under the addiction, peeling back the layers of understanding, and healing the issues that change these behaviors undeniably helped me in so many ways!All the staff is very caring and understanding. The food is 5 stars, the rooms are nice and big, and the beds are very comfortable. All-in all the whole facility is top notch.I am truly grateful for the support I received when I needed it by the staff who helped support me until I returned.I am also looking forward to the aftercare program that provides coaching sessions, support meetings and puts on special events for alumni.I highly recommend SCHC to ANY of my fellow humans that need and want to live a happier and healthier existence. You are worth the help they provide!I particularly appreciate that they treat you like an adult. That it is based on science and is evidence based. It is in general a holistic and meaning centered therapy approach.There is hope.Much love and respect.

I was in a very bad car accident 3.5 years ago where I broke my back and had a severe concussion. I fell into a deep depression and turned to drugs and alcohol to numb the pain. This led me to a downward spiral of self-destruction that ended up in a suicide attempt. I came to the Sunshine Coast Health Centre right after my attempt and it saved my life. I can't say enough good things about this place and the people who work there. In the years during my recovery I never experienced the level of expertise and care that I received from the doctors, counsellors, staff and alumni at this centre. I was able to get all of the medical help I needed to deal with my chronic back pain, which I learned was the source of all of my other problems. Once that was handled, I was able to dive into the mental health issues that I couldn't deal with while in so much pain. I gained so much insight from the alternative therapies they offered, plus the connections and support that I found with people going through similar situations was priceless. I don't have enough good things to say about this place and I tell everyone I know that I truly believe that everyone could benefit from coming to a place like this.

An absolutely incredible experience. Easily one of the greatest months of my life. The staff, facilities, and program all exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it to anybody seeking an effective and enjoyable treatment experience. Now as an Alumni of SCHC I have access to a vast, readily available support network of fellow clients, staff, and online meetings that are there for me as I return to my life in post-treatment. All of the optional weekly classes I attended, from neuroscience to dharma recovery, were incredibly interesting and informative, and I had weekly scheduled appointments with specialist doctors and therapists that had a 2 year wait list back in my home city.

I want to send a huge thank you to all the staff at SCHC. I was overwhelmed with the helpful kindness of all that work there. If you need a little or a lot of help this is the place!! I’m leaving with a better understanding of my mind, body and spirit. As a bonus I lost 15lbs in my 30day stay and feel great. With a big smile on my face and a positive outlook for the future I’m ready to enjoy all that life has to offer.Thanks SCHC

SCHC is by far the best experience I’ve had at any facility of this type. The staff are overly friendly, respectful, helpful and committed.They treat you as an adult and give you the space you need to grow on terms they help you set for YOURSELF. Therapies and treatment plans are extremely individualized and tailored for the best results for just you. Also the other clients were very mature and friendly. No drama what so ever. Really just a supportive and nurturing environment. I would recommend for anyone looking to better themselves through self work and self awareness in an unbelievable setting.

Sunshine Coast Health Center is fabulous. The staff are top notch. The facility is excellent. The program is the best and I am glad I chose this facility for my treatment. Highly recommend this facility to any person.

The Sunshine Coast health centre is not your typical treatment centre, it not only met but exceeded my expectations. Staff is kind, accepting, supportive and knowledgeable in every way possible. I found it comforting that the centre is not 12 step but focuses on meaning therapy and the connections needed to help people to continue on with their journeys in life.
