The Mennonite Story
We've been here when booking a tour wasn't mandatory, and after this policy came into effect. We had the pleasure of being guided through the museum by Steven when visiting the second time, and I am so glad we came back for that experience! I learned so much more than when we walked through the place on our own. Highly recommend!

Super informative, very interesting. I discovered a new world I have known nothing about before. Horst hosted us. He is an amazing speaker with a great sense of humor. We loved it a lot. Recommend to everyone. I want to come again.

The Mennonite Story
Lovely and informative story of the history of the Mennonite community with a video and models. The host was a sweet man more than willing to answer any questions that weren't answered. Great way to spend an hour or so. Entrance is by donation but suggested $5pp

Nice facility with high quality exhibits to learn about Mennonites of all denominations. Videos, pictures, text, timelines, etc. A little heavy on dates and people, I would have enjoyed more about the lifestyle and beliefs, though that certainly is covered. All in all definitely worth a visit!

A small but full of history and information museum about the Mennonite . I'm glad that we visited this little house, this gives me a chance to know more about the history and life of the Mennonites. They have my respect on their belief.

St Jakobs is well worth a trip, and a such a pretty village, with lots to see and good eating and drinking places. Crafts and homemade things to buy. Plus a very scenic trip from the Burlington area.

Nice museum with the story of menonites. Audio is provided in different languages. They don't charge entrance.. just a suggested donation. Most see in St jacobs

Mennonities in St Jacob village: It is great to know that there is people in the world who actually live quality life without having much influence of modern technology, their beliefs is within themselves. Nature is very close to them.

I have taken many visitors to St. Jacob's and they all agree that this gem of a museum is one of the best destinations there. For those who are interested in the Mennonites, past and present, this is the place to go. The displays provide information in an interactive and interesting way. Thank you for such a wonderful and insightful retelling of the Mennonite story.
