Dieppe Veterans Memorial Park is so filled with reverence and so many people were down by Lake Ontario to enjoy and, at this one spot, being full of thought. What a glorious day!

Dieppe Veterans Memorial Park
Nice little park to reflect on the lives lost protecting freedom. Dieppe saw the loss of so many Canadians during the second world war. The park also has access to the Burlington beaches and pathway along the lake. The parking lots is fairly small, so it's best to park at the larger beach parking and hoof it for the two minutes to get to the park.

This is an important memorial to honour the soldiers of the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry who lost their lives taking part in the Dieppe Raid August 1942. Lest We Forget.

Went there on 80th anniversary. Right next to bike path . Nobody stopped even for a moment . Too easy to forget the past and the lessons from it, I guess

It's a place to visit and show respect to the people who fell on this incredibly important day in the world's history. It's very powerful. If you are in the area it should be a must visit.
