Port Dover Harbour Museum
This museum is a great place to come on a weekend if you’re in the Port Dover area. Although it appears small, do not be fooled. From the floor to the ceiling, artifacts and antiquities related to Port Dover and the Great Lakes are displayed. There is also a great exhibit from the shipwreck and former steamship “Atlantic” which was found by a local diver. That exhibit has many cool artifacts from the 1850s. Visitors of all ages can come and have fun learning about history. There is also a gift shop too with books and other items.

Great little place. First time being there and I'd definitely go back. Lots of history to read up on. Very interesting if your into this kind of stuff. Lots of cool things to explore around Port Dover itself too.

10/10 such a cute museum, you don't need to buy an entry ticket but they accept donations. I learned and saw a lot of really cool things in here. I don't know anything about boats or sailing and it was fun to go check it out. The staff at the front was super kind as well

Wonderful little museum that has so many displays; always learn something new when I come here!I don't get Olivia Livin's complaint at all; I'd rather my money go towards helping museums and teaching people the history of the area (I'm sure it's mostly volunteer run anyways) than rubbish like paving over our natural habitats to make their developer buddies happy. Hard to take someone seriously when they use that picture as their avatar!

Curated so well.This Lake Erie gem offers the visitor so much history you near earn your sea legs.Interesting and meticulous.We bought a book on the Lake Erie shipwrecks and became addicted.Take some time and visit!!
