I don't agree with the bad reviews at all, this was a really nice and clean restaurant and the food was fantastic. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We reserved a table ahead of time for a big group of 16 and ordered the aaloo Puri thali (served until 1pm on weekends) and beef nihaari, sweet lassi and mango lassi and Kashmiri Chai. All were great and had an authentic Pakistani I taste.Only issue was that we reserved the seats ahead of time and arrived 10 mins before our reservation, there was the table for us but not enough chairs or anything setup. We had to ask for more chairs and high chairs etc and they brought out the naan and the Puris before our food, which made them cold. All else was perfect**Just went again after a year and the food was again delicious! Nihaari, naan and BBQ platter

Don't waste your time. Was visiting Edmonton Mall for the first time (from Toronto) & just needed to eat somewhere. Just tasteless, dirty and expensive. Better off getting Filet-o-Fish from McDonalds.Place is old, seen flies and insects on the wall. We went at 6:30 PM and no one in sight. If it's not busy at 6:30 PM, on a Sunday....See pictures - enough said. Ordered Chicken Karahi and we got Chicken Korma instead. Owner (and staff) have no ability for proper customer service. BBQ was raw & naans were burnt. When I brought this up to the owner, he had the audacity to make a joke and then question why I didn't bring it up, instead of apologizing.Customer service = 0Food = 0

Ordered medium spicy chicken curry. Chicken was all on the bone and there were only 3 pieces including the spine which honestly felt kinda iffy. The texture seemed kinda lumpy of the curry but the flavours were overall ok. I would say the medium spicy is kinda spicier ( they said 5 on the phone) around 6 or 7. Any spicier and it would have been too much. I think the spices were about the only good things in the dish.The naan was undercooked.Any time you walk into a restaurant where there is a ghost town at 630 pm is not a good sign. It was also hard to find the place.

Over priced. Short staffed. Long wait time. Looking at good reviews, decided to go there for our dinner. Interior is not appealing and not very good presentation. Had the Chicken Karahi and Beef Nehari both of which failed to come close to the standard as we have had much better quality in similar Calgary restaurants. Waited too long for the food. Wouldn't recommend.

1st time visiting Chutney's West. The food was amazing - charga, beef Niharika, karahi chicken, chicken Tikka kabab and beef seekh. After placing the order staff confirmed it will be a 30min wait for food to be served and it was worth the wait. All of family liked the food. It was great...

Family restautant, authentic tasty food cokeed to perfection. The grill mix was excellent, and so was the papri chat. We loved the kashmiri chat and the falooda for dessert

Before heading back to Miami wanted to have Nehari and got the best Nehari at Chutney West in Edmonton. Very delicious. Friendly and family type of attitude from the owner and server.Reasonably priced. Will come when back to Edmonton.

You need to update your opening hours so people do not waste their time to drive there. I drove 40KM for food and this restaurant was closed but online was showing open. If you running business then you should update hours for customer service.

Went for breakfast on May 20, 2023.We came to this eatery few years ago as well. This time wear and tear on the interior of the restaurant was very visible. Dark interior with black carpet and stained upholstery not very inviting at all.I was told by one staff that owners have open another branch of this restaurant in Edmonton. I wish if owner invest some money into this before opening another branch but it’s his money, I can only suggest.Thankfully food quality is remain the same. We ordered on Bihari Kebab and one breakfast platterBihari kebab was the best among the items we order.Service was fast and server friendly.
