Alcona Rent-All

I took my lawnmower here to get fixed on May 17th 2023, and after one week I had received no calls, or updates about the repair. I had to contact them to find out that information.They told me they were waiting for a part. So I said okay and kept waiting. Flash forward to June 17th, 2023 and still no updates, no word, nothing. I go in to find out the status and they say that the part has arrived, but no one has had time to fix it.So I immediately took it back, and refused to allow them to waste any more of my time.They told me what part was needed, and I didn't want to pay their high price for it. Guess what?!I went on Amazon, and the part got delivered in ONE DAY. One day for the part that they said took 3 weeks to deliver. And what's more the part was a spring. A SPRING!Clearly this is not an actual business; they are operating a scam racket, where they take your deposit fee, and then just make up excuses until out get fed up, and take the piece of equipment back. For the elderly people, they probably don't even remember they brought it in, and I bet this place just plain old keeps it when that happens.I know this because when I did pick up my mower to take it to a more reputable place; there were at least 50 other customer mowers waiting in a graveyard out back behind the place. It was very evident that no one, ever had serviced any of them. They didn't even store it inside. It left outside baking in the sun for 4 weeks.Every business in this town only survives because there's no other options for competition; all of them, all services business in Alcona I have tried; and this is no exception.Utterly trash, garbage tier customer service.I hope you scumbags go out of business.

Worse customer service!!!! If I can give zero stars I would. I dropped of a lawn mower there for warranty work, 4 months later it's still not fixed, I went there to take the mower back and come to find out someone hit it with a skid steer or some other machine.Mower went in there practically brand new and the excuse I got was it was the weight of the snow that caused that. Found my mower buried in the snow

I have only used the rental portion of their services.I've come here a few times for various tools and machines that I needed to rent for a day or two; post hole digger, lawn tiller, lawn aerator, to name a few.Employees were always easy to get ahold of, quick to lend a hand or answer questions, and made sure you understood the function of your equipment so you wouldn't damage it or cause injury.Pricing was reasonable and rules for each rental are easy to follow and are given to you prior to you leaving with your tool(s) or equipment.Pleasant experience, functional tool(s)/equipment, and reasonably priced. I will return when I require a rental in the future.

Good, friendly service. Be sure you have everything you need. An attachment I needed and thought was included was actually a chargeable add on, so I had to go back to get it. Would have been better if they asked about the accessories on the first visit to save me the return visit.

Absolutely fantastic SERVICE. I went to order a part for an older model NOMA Snowblower cable for the SnowThrower. It did not appear on the web page. So the male staff helping me decided to search his parts shelf and found a perfect match which worked perfect. He went the extra mile and did not give up. My thanks to the staff member.I have never been disappointed with staff members at the Innisfil Beach Rd location and would highly recommend this location.

Brought in a lawn tractor for annual service- clean up and advised three weeks wait time- no issue. Three weeks later I called and am advised there's just two in front of yours". Ok. Call back two weeks later- and am first told they are just waiting for a part- a lightbulb. I need to put the machine into a backyard shed and can't close the gate once the snow comes so I say- I don't cut my lawn at night- I'm ok to get the bulb later if that's all I need. Guy says to call Monday as he's not a tech and just to be sure it's ready to call before I show up . Call Monday- find it's not my machine they have been talking about and get advised " there's just two in front of me". So enough smoke blown

RUN. RUN AWAY. All business when taking your cash, quick descent into the nether regions if looking for service. Don’t follow up on commitments, promises or customer service. Booked machine & pd well in advance. Not there for pick up. Promised 3 would be returned next day. I would be given first. Next morning came I was told the one machine was returned broken & no more would be returned. I asked again for first machine returned. Nothing. Gave management ample time to rectify. They are in the wind. BE aware! SHOP ELSEWHERE.

I’ve used Alcona Rental for years. I downsized a few years back and sold or gave away a lot of my tools to save space. Now I rent what I need from Alcona Rent-All when I need it.The staff has never lead me wrong and are always friendly and helpful showing me how to use the tools I rent safely. They never try to oversell or upgrade to something too big for the job just to make more profit. They have even given me discounts when I was slightly over the 4 hour time slot which was very kind of them.The tools are always like new and in excellent condition with all the safety gear provided.This is a great company and a wonderful service that I am so grateful to have here in Alcona.Thanks
