Who doesn't like a great pie? Busy but well managed. They'll get you in and out within your 2 hour window. Quick with a refill. Menu choices are well crafted. Atmosphere is chatty and fun.

We tried the spicy rigatoni shrimp pasta , three pigs pizza, tiger prawn pizza and the Casablanca pizza. The spicy pasta wasn't spicy and lacked sauce and prawn in both the pasta and pizza were not tiger prawns, they were much smaller. The beer was good.The three pigs pizza was amazing! I would definitely recommend it and I would order it again.The prawn pizza base was over done,way too much parmesan and didn't taste great.The Casablanca was good.

Loved it!! Very nice ambiance and decor for a bar. Came to know that its always very lively and noisy lol. The drinks are okay but definitely go for their Casablanca pizza. Its delicious!! They have live DJ as well.

Ordered via Ubereats from Bar Poet on June 16, 2023This review is just about two of Bar Poet’s pizzas.In a nutshell, the thin crust pizzas that arrived at our door looked nothing like the pizzas on the Uber app.I ordered a ”Shrimp Alfredo” pizza. My 12” pizza arrived with 6 slices and 7 helpless shrimp strewn about the box and absent of any Alfredo looking sauce or moisture. I bit into a slice and it was utterly boring. I had to gussy up my pizza with sprinkling a can of tuna over it, some spices, and adding some goat cheese and shoving it in the air fryer. I would call their shrimp pizza a TOTAL RIPOFF.The other 12” thin crust pizza that was delivered was the “Casablanca” and was only decent because of the banana peppers, otherwise not worth ordering or mentioning.Bar Poet does not do pizza’s well. Period. Order a Blondie’s pizza and you’ll see what a real gourmet pizza looks, and tastes like when it arrives.

My friend and I are here for a few days and our flight got in a few hours before check in. We took our laptops to hang out for a few hours and we had the best time! Not only was the atmosphere upbeat and welcoming, but the food and service was amazing! Highly recommend

Really nice interior, but not much else to say about Bar Poet. The drink menu has some interesting drinks, which was nice. Tried the peanut butter espresso martini and it was pretty good. What I didn’t like was the gnocchi, it was way too chewy. I was kind of disappointed because I was really wanting gnocchi and it did sound pretty good based on the description. Service was ok, some drinks were forgotten and the washrooms weren’t the cleanest. Overall, I had a nice time with my friends but I don’t think I would go out of my way to return.

The reason I'm giving the atmosphere a 4 is because I felt it was a little dark and was a little difficult to see the menu. However, our waiter, Jordan, was absolutely knowledgeable with the menu and suggested great drinks. The food was outstanding, had the kalemari Entree, and the Shakespeare pizza. This is another great place in the city. Thanks for the great meal.

The atmosphere here is really nice if you can reserve a seat near the lit trees in the middle. It's nice, warm and rustic/industrial.The drinks are very well made and flavorful.We had the calamari which had an interesting bitterness to it.Will have to come back with reservations to get a proper feel for the place.
