Lighthouse Labs

Great staff, mentors, and instructors. The courses were setup in a thoughtful manner which I felt made sense. Helped me understand core concepts (FOCAL) and built upon them throughout the bootcamp. Would recommend if anyone is looking to boost start learning into web development.

After completing a few weeks of the program I decided to opt out and asked for a refund. According to the signed agreement between lighthouse labs and I I was entitled to a partial refund(75%). After a month of waiting I have still not recieved my refund..Edit: I recieved my refund shortly after this post. Company said their accounting department said they processed it but failed to send a check. I'm guessing I wouldn't have recieved my refund if I hadn't written this review. Their instructors are friendly but will brush you off if you seek a refund.

Can't even begin to describe how much doing the full time boot camp with them changed my life and my plans for the future :-) And what an amazing community to be part of! If you're considering doing a coding boot camp and don't know what to pick, I can guarantee you'll get the most out of your money if you pick them.

The people this company were nice. However, they do NOT provide accommodations for people with learning disabilities and they were dishonest about this with me. I provided feedback to them regarding this and never heard back from anyone. No surprise. I didn't appreciate being discriminated against because I learn differently, it's not a reflection of IQ. They should have been honest from the start and told me they don't provide accommodations or understanding. So save yourself some time and DO NOT bother trying to apply for courses with them if you have any learning differences. In this day an age it's appalling and frankly unethical but they are a private school.

I loved everything about this program. The teachers and mentors where amazing at breaking concepts down and gave me the confidence to start my career as a developer.The course is definitely a challenge, but one I found exciting and even when I felt stuck there was always someone available to help out. The community around Lighthouse Labs has continued to be a motivating, empowering resource even five years out with their focus on continuing to support alumni education and development.​If your willing to put in the work Lighthouse Labs is 1000% worth it. decision

For a long time, I was a web designer but wanted to be a developer. I took the web development Bootcamp course and It guided me on how to learn things to achieve the goal. Staffs are very supportive, and instructors & mentors are reliable.
