Abbey Chimneys Stove & Flue Systems

When I first moved into the area I wanted to use my fireplace and contacted this company who came and gave me advice and swept my chimney. He was polite and efficient and as I wanted the cost down he advised me to expose the bricks and get a railway sleeper as a mantelpiece. It looks great at very little cost. I have used this company ever since to sweep my chimney.This is an efficient and helpful company who also recently visited my daughter who has just moved to the area and although he couldn't sweep the chimney because he discovered exposed asbestos behind the wood burner he spent time explaining to them what they should do and didn't charge them.I'm very pleased with the service and attitude they present.

We bought our house and were told the chimney was not operational. I had a fireplace installation company give me a quote of £2000. I had Abbey Chimneys in to have a look and he removed a blockage in the chimney in about an hour for £60 and certified the chimney as working and safe. He even left the living room tidy. I would recommend this company!

Initially wanted expert advice on correct chimney cowl to be fitted to aleviate serious downdraught in our living room. Was told this is the best available" so went ahead with supply and fit. Sadly

He came today was quick efficient and left both rooms spotless I would definitely recommend this company.
