The experience with this spa was awful from the very beginning. When I called to make an appointment the receptionist was not friendly or polite. My appointment time was changed without contacting me first 4 hours prior to my original appointment time on a weekday which was inconvenient due to my work schedule. I called the clinic as I was arriving to inquire about their parking and the receptionist was less than helpful, again unfriendly and impolite. I got to the clinic and they had booked me for a service completely different from what i purchased, the Doctor continued to tell me how my service is such old tech there's many different things out there that are better. Once in the room neither the doctor or the receptionist could figure out what medical garments to provide me with, i ended up with a mix of towels and a disposable gown. Through my service the doctor would come in and check on me leaving the door open multiple times, continued to tell me about how dated my service is compared to others through the time i was in there. Finally when i was ready to leave he asked me to pay a mandatory 15% gratuity fee on the original price of the service, the gratuity was almost as much as i paid for the service after Groupon discounts. He said this is a norm with Groupon and that there's always mandatory gratuity with their deals, i asked him to show me where it said that and he couldn't. He was only able to show me on a random screen that was not the Groupon website, i even walked him through their page on the app where it doesn't say there is a mandatory gratuity. We agreed that I was not going to pay it, he was very rude and sent me on my way. I will NEVER go back here.

I’ve never had a more confusing time then dealing with their reception.I booked online for their $6 Botox special. I’ve had filler for years but this would be my first time getting Botox.After booking I decided to call and get a rough estimate of what it would cost to do my forehead and eye area, and was told that it varies, which I understand. I again asked if there was a general average amount usually needed, and was told again that it varies.I then asked what the cost is for 1 syringe of lip filler. In all my years of getting lip filler there is always the price for a half or a full.I was told that the pricing should show online, and I explained that I hadn’t seen it and since I had booked already it wasn’t letting me go back and add anything additionally.I was then told to leave my name and email and someone would get back to me.Well three days later no one had responded, so I called again and spoke to a different receptionist.I explained that I was waiting for an email that never came, and asked again how much one syringe of lip filler cost and she said she didn’t know. She had no idea the price for any service at all.Well by the time my appointment rolled around I woke up feeling quite sick. There’s a $150 cancellation fee, so I made sure to call. There was no answer.I called again the morning of, since no one answered the day before each time I called, and explained that I was sick and would need to reschedule.The receptionist said she’s not in charge of that and that the “schedule co-ordinator would have to get back to me.” She forwarded me to whoever that was, no answer, was told to leave my name, phone number, and email. No one ever called me back.The doctor seems to have good reviews but I’m not really sure what the job of reception is seeing as all they tried to do was get off the phone and not one of them had an answer to anything.I’ll be sticking to my usual doctor.

TOTAL SCAM PLACE. I received an IPL that did nothing. I have had many over the past couple years and I know how it should have resulted. I called and asked if they would consider spot treatment on my areas of concern. Peter Idahosa said he'd call me back with a solution...instead he blocked my cell. That's the professionalism you will get from him. Don't support such a terrible business.April 22/23 - update: received a threatening email from the spa today to take my reviews down or they will get their lawyer after me. I stand by my review. Do not use this business!!!

I have been visiting CalgaryMediSpa since I moved here less than 2 years ago originally found on Groupon Doctor Peter is one of the best I regularly do Botox and fillers and he took off the 10 pounds I needed for a special occasion and it has stayed off I have referred my son and husband for rosacea problems and now they are patients of Calgary MediSpa Calgary MediSpa are always accommodating and have wonderful patience and understanding. No oversell

At 54 gaining weight has been a problem for me, so I went in for a weight loss plan and between the doctor's recommended program of calorie counting, Lipochill and body contouring sessions I achieved way better results than I expected!!! Super happy with the results and would highly recommend to anyone!!

I had booked an appointment using the MediSpa’s online booking system (using a Groupon). I had no issues originally booking this appointment and there was no indication that Groupons were no longer being accepted. Less than 24 hours before my appointment, I received email, cancelling my appointment, stating they no longer accept Groupons. Had I cancelled with less than 24 hour notice, I would have need to pay a $150 cancellation fee. I am not happy with my interactions with this business.

Wow what an unreal experience all around. Such a beautiful warm energy and aura from the minute I walked in until the minute I left. Peter did such an amazing, thorough job with my treatment and made me feel super comfortable and at home with his positive vibe and energy. Everyone needs to go here and check it out! I look forward to getting many more services in the near future.
