The BBQ pork buns are absolutely fantastic and everyone is incredibly friendly. Have been coming here for years. Surprisingly, this is a great spot to get balls of pizza dough from as well.

The food is AMAZINGGG, and I love the owners of this place. It is so authentic, especially those BBQ Pork Buns are to die for. I go here at least 2 times a week because they’re just that addicting, and I always get amazing service. Support these businesses during these hard times!

Great selection of Bao buns (tried spicy pork, beef and chicken) for reasonable prices! I believe they are $3.25 each. Some reviewers will say this is more than other places but these have more filling than those other bakeries!Neighborhood staple and will be back

Love the steamed BBQ Pork buns here and make sure to leave some room for the apple tarts too. Check out the coconut buns and egg tarts too. The couple that run this bakery are super nice and you feel very welcome every time you visit. TIP: Apple tarts are usually available a little later in the day from my experience

The female staffs serving the dining customers were really nice and attentive. I loved everything I ordered... steamed bun, red bean sesame ball, congee. I think the price could be better though.

I'm never coming back to this place again. It looks great on the outside but it seems like an old couple own this place? They need new owners or these 2 should retire. Nothing looks fresh or good. I got a BBQ pork bun and an almond cookie. Both stale. I threw them away. Every thing in the glass case was in plastic bags. Very weird. Go to China town or Richmond location.

BEST BBQ PORK BUNS around and Excellent VALUE. I've tried almost all the steamed buns at all the Phil-Chi bakeries around and these guys win the trophy in that category. Super flavorful, fall apart chewy tender lean pork inside. SzeChuan (Spicy) Beef Buns are also excellent. They've kept their prices old school too. $4 for fresh, hand-made, meat filled buns is a great deal, and I'm a frugal guy. It's like pre-covid pricing - for anything in store imo. Plus, really kind owners who can speak like 4 different languages: tagalog, english, mandarin, canto. I like to learn a little Canto while I'm there and leave a little tip to make their day.

I work a short walk away from here and it’s almost dangerous to be this close. The bbq pork buns are absolutely delicious - I still haven’t had any as good as these. The other buns are quite good too, but the pork bun is a must try. The staff are always lovely as well. I’ll continue my weekly bun pickup.

A local hidden gem, apparently this is the original bakery of the one my mother used to go to in Chinatown. The cocktail buns are a good value, but the steamed and baked pork buns were a little pricey at ~$4 each. They are bigger than other bakeries though and a very strong savoury taste. The spicy Szechuan style pork buns are a specialty there and a nice change up from the standard pork bun. I do miss those apple tartlets from the Chinatown bakery though. The ones here are close, but not the same. A nice bonus is free parking in the back, although you still have to walk around the buildings to get to the front door.
