If you’re looking for good customer service... go somewhere else. I booked a last minute appointment in person to get my hair done for a wedding. I’m from out of town and found the on a google search, I understand last minute appointments can be a pain but the lady who booked me in assured me that it wouldn’t be an issue and it would be done before 2pm. I show up 10 minutes early, stand around and no one acknowledges me. Finally a girl comes up and says my stylist will be with my in 10 minutes, okay great so I have a seat... meanwhile my stylist was just starting to wash a clients hair. I sit there for 10 min, than 20 min and no one approaches to say anything. Not an “I’m sorry” or “it will be a little longer” NOTHING. So I picked up and walked out while the girl at the front desk scoffs and asks “oh, are you leaving?” Yes, yes I am and I’m never coming back. What a sad excuse, and zero value for a paying customer.

Stylist was skilled but $100+ just for a blowout is absolutely unheard of. Will not be returning.Editing to say - I did not get an updo. It's possible I was charged for one, though. Regardless, an updo is not what I asked for.

I have been to Hypnotic twice now and my husband once. First time, I got my own hair highlighted. The staff are all so friendly and talented at what they do!The second time I went was to bring my son to get his hair cut. He is 1 and a half, so cutting his hair is a challenge! The stylist who cut his hair was so patient and always made sure that he was doing ok (stopping when he got upset).My husband also enjoyed his experience (he is a man of few words, but he had a pleasant experience).Christy at the front desk was so welcoming and warm! She makes you feel comfortable as soon as you enter the salon! :)I will definitely be going back with my whole family!

Would definitely come back in a heart beat. Right as I walked in I was welcomed by the manager, along with the rest of the staff. Everyone is so friendly there! The staff are all passionate about what they do and they strive for excellency. Can't wait to come back!

Amazing place for any age client. Shawn the owner and his staff are fantastic! He was great with my little girl and did a wonderful job adding some colour to my hair.. purple and turquoise :)

After 3 dissasterous cuts at a salon not too far away rom Hypnotic, I had my first cut by Shawn. In a word...excellent in all respects.

Only place I get my hair done! As soon as you walk in, you feel super welcome. Nicky always gives me the exact style I want, and is genuine in his recommendations for me. I also swear by their shelf products they sell, especially their shampoos. Completely got rid of build up. 5 stars :)

I booked my two daughters for haircuts (both under 10 years of age) and was shocked at how much they charged. Their website stated one price and they charged $15 per child more. It cost me over $100 without a tip for both young girls to have an itch cut off. I did say something, which I normally never would, and felt very awkward doing so. They refunded me $11.00. I still find $90 a lot of money for children's hair cuts. I understand and can appreciate costs rising due to a pandemic, however I called around afterwards to other salons in the area and surrounding areas and they are charging $10-20 less per child. I feel bad for the stylist because she did a wonderful job and the girls love their haircuts! but we wont be back. That's just too much.

Best hair cut I have ever had! She knew what I wanted and it looks great! Thank you soo much.

Both haircut and colour were done and I was pleased with both. Shawn the master stylist knows how to cut hair well and knows how to give really good highlights.
