The Hide Out Diner
This was my first experience at the hide out diner and I’m blown away from the incredible service and delicious foods. I’m a big chicken and waffle fan and I was not disappointed one bit. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the batter for both meals were light and fluffy. I would definitely be coming back here again.

The Hide Out Diner
When I saw this restaurant in Uber Eats, I just want to order, unfortunately this restaurant is only operated from 8:00 to 16:00 therefore I can’t order my dinner.I decide to give it a try on my day off, surprisingly it didn’t disappoint me. I order an appetizer meatballs, it is very juicy and tasty, the tomato sauce is perfectly balancing the dish.The second dish is fish and chips, they use halibut instead of cod or pollock, the price is very reasonable $17.50 which is cheaper than the other famous brands. They use clean oil to deep fry therefore the fish is crispy and not oily, highly recommended.Overall service is very good, the restaurant is clean and cozy which I like most, if I have time I would come back to try out different dishes.

This place is insanely good and consistent. It’s always a gamble when you have an international menu because quality could be suspicious, but I’m telling you. ANYTHING you order is top notch in quality and freshness. Had the Cajun tuna Caesar salad, which was excellent. The lettuce was fresh and the tuna was perfectly seared with a delicious non spicy seasoning. 10 out of 10, highly recommend this Vancouver gem.

True hidden Gem. Tucked in behind Home Depot on the other side of the fence. Lovely clean and comfortable atmosphere. Delicious, well prepared food with lots of selections to choose from. Generous portions, very reasonable prices.Natsu our server was very pleasant, kind, attentive and knowledgeable. She also made a great iced latte! We went with her recommendation and everything was spot on. We wished we had found this place sooner.Take time to make that right turn into the complex right after you exit Home Depot. You will not be disappointed!

Amazing hidden little gem! This cozy little diner is warm and friendly while serving the most flavourful and generous proportioned dishes. Their ravioli is made fresh in house and the coffee is wonderful. Their pricing is also super reasonable for the quality they're serving up. Love a good mom and pop shop.

Unpretentious high quality family diner. Good food well prepared, reasonable prices, big portions, extensive menu, daily specials. Friendly service. Odd location, difficult to access without a car. Nice view of the mountains (and the Home Depot parking lot) from the booths.

The Hide Out Diner
Service was above and beyond, staff were all so friendly and sweet. Has the feel of a local best kept secret. My husband and I ate outside in the full sun (which was what we wanted) on their little patio behind Home Depot. Price was very reasonable. Will definitely return as we live in the neighbourhood and the portion size was huge!
