She made my experience pleasant and low stress, something I don’t usually get from my interactions with dealerships. I took my 2017 Ford Escape to North Star for an oil and filter plus vehicle inspection in early January. The service provided was excellent and Brittany, the service coordinator, did an excellent job of logging my vehicle im and communicating about the work to be done and all the logistics for that day.

Excellent sales team. I can't complain about my experience in North Star. Nicole showed me the best options for my needs and budget and were transparent about the cars features, ups and downs, and I'm sure we made a great choice. Deanne explained very well the financing part, looked for the options that best fit my case and advised me on which one was the better pick. Felipe went through all of what the car offers and how to use all in the delivery process. I'm very happy with North Star and my family is very happy with our new SUV.

Nicole responded same-day to follow up with me. In person she gave clear answers, was pleasant to work with, and was flexible to my test drive request.Easy process from beginning to end.When I encountered a minor issue shortly after the sale completed, both Nicole and Greg were quick to help and see to it that the issue was fully resolved.Fully satisfied customer.

Long story short. Took in for a system check (diagnostic) as it was a used vehicle I just wanted them to check error codes that my cheap scanner could not. The service performed was not that. I app paid for a basic service like looking at my taillights to see if they are working...basic basic stuff. I mentioned a rough idle shooting the sh!t" with the service advisor while they booked me in. They took it as an opportunity to charge me an additional service. I signed the waiver. They pointed out two more spots for me to initial without explaining. Like most people I just did it not thinking. Anyway my $130 bill was $390 when I picked it up."

I feel like they need to bring in someone to work on making their service department more efficient. Their service department doesn't seem to be able to handle the volume of customers.It feels like every time I take my vehicle in, it takes 2 to 3 visits to get everything right, and I spend 30 to 45 minutes just waiting to check my vehicle in.

Broken seat.2020 Explorer ST. 40k kmI have used Northstar for my fleet units my personal units for 15 years.We booked it in as the plastic enclosure surrounding it came apart. 3 days later some of the seat functions stopped working. Then when trying to use my preset seat settings it clamped to the steering wheel.The service agent Brittaney took the vehicle in. You get all these texts about the progress then pick it up. The SA informed me the seat is still broken and needs more parts. Shows me a box of broken parts. Accuses me of doing it and I would be charged for the parts. I let them know I don't drive it . It is my wifes full time driver and a leased vilehicle so there is no way I would tamper with it. It's not my car, it's Fords....And of course I denied the accusations and asked for her manager. They weren't in. I took the car with new parts that I apparently broke. Seat is still not working very uncomfortable but they did get it to recline to 90 degrees. I was called and told to bring it back as all my parts came in. 1 day to fix. Pick it up handed a bill and told the seat is now fixed. I refused to pay. They refused to give me the keys.. i paid the bill (Manager still not in. I had to take the car for an Xmas road trip). I take it home the fails on the way. I called them to let them know that the $700 parts i paid for didn't fix it. Had to take a spare vehicle for xmas. Round 3 now. 1 month wait for parts. Take it back. Get the notice it's fixed sort of. They found another part broken that is causing the seat to clamp forward and not recline or lower to the floor.Same original issue minus the broken plastic. I was told I should be greatful that Brittany got me warranty for the 2k in parts it needs. Manager contacts me over xmas. They are sorry for my experience and blah blah blah parts delays balah. I get it. Car gets fixed". I get the manager this time. Explain.I ask How would the plastic break on a brand new unit? I mean you get in you get out. Never saw this before. How could this be on me to pay when it is still not fixed. No luck told sorry but at least we replaced the back the entire wiring and spiral gears seat mounts on warranty. ROUND 4!! seat is not working again. Taking the vehicle to Airdrie and not dealing with NorthStar period.3.5 months still failing seat controls and a $700 bill for nothing.I will take the inconvenience in distance for actual customer service. 0 stars should be an option."
