I came here with a Groupon voucher. The food was so good that I felt slightly guilty that I was paying a discounted price. While other restaurants have a Groupon menu, Tigo Trattoria offered us a regular menu. The entire dinner was excellent and I will definitely go again.

First time visitors (on Valentine’s Day!) and have to say we were incredibly impressed! Keep reading!I decided to find a nice little Italian place that was cozy and somewhat romantic for Valentine’s Day. It was time we started to get out of our comfort zone and stopped going to the same places that we love every year. This was a bit of a risk but based on the reviews online and photos, we decided to make a reservation (easily on open table)The place is definitely on the smaller size. First impressions were that it was nicely lit for dinner and clean. We requested a booth when reserving but there were only tables. Totally fine.The staff from start to finish were all nice, helpful and pleasant.You get a nice plate of seasoned bread to start off your meal which is always a welcomed addition to any meal.Our appetizer calamari was perfect. Not over battered or greasy at all.My agnolotti (stuffed with crab meat) in a cream sauce was rich and delicious. We also had the potato gnocchi. Both were fresh and plentiful. Gnocchis were good but I wouldn’t say best we’ve ever had.We finished the dinner with the homemade tiramisu. Delicious. Again not the best but tasty nonetheless.Thanks for a wonderful evening! See you guys again soon!

My girlfriend and I went here for our anniversary dinner and we enjoyed it. We were able to find a Groupon for this restaurant so we saved a bunch of money. I would recommend using their Groupon if you want to try their food out. The food was very good. The menu was a pre-fixed menu due to the voucher but we enjoyed what we had. We both had pasta as well as calamari. I remember the calamari was VERY good - we always like calamari as restaurants and this place's was amazing. And the dessert was amazing as well - which was their cheesecake. The service was amazing as well. Overall I would recommend this place for a nice little Italian dinner.

Went here as we purchased a Groupon, and the place itself is tight, very limited seating. The servers were older Italian gentleman who were nice.The Groupon gives two appetizers, bruschetta, two entrees, and a shared dessert. For apps we had mussels with white wine sauce and the beef carpaccio which both which in my opinion were great, and I enjoyed the bruschetta as well. For entrees I had the lamb, sausage, and chicken plate with Tigo sauce which seemed to be olive oil. The lamb was one tiny piece but cooked well, no flavor though. The chicken had no flavor at all, the sausage had the most flavor. My boyfriend had the shrimp, salmon, and calamari, all which were okay but again no taste really. For dessert we had the tiramisu which was great and had a cappuccino which coated an additional $4.25 but was not worth the price paid.Overall, I would go back but try something else for the entrees as I'm hopeful the food would be better.

I ordered grilled calamari and seafood pasta and they were really good. The food came out pretty quickly and the price was reasonable. Staffs are nice and friendly. I am happy that I found this place. Desserts were good too but it was a bit pricey.

Came here for an anniversary! Service was really great and welcoming, and food was very good. Portion sizes seem to be lacking a little compared to other restaurants I've been to, but the service you get makes up for it. You can tell all their staff are experienced. Bruschetta was very good, beef carppaccio was delicious, and the fried calamari is different than what we expected. It's not really breaded like other calamaris you've probably had. Entrees were okay, I had the seafood mix and it was pretty good, but the mixed grill seemed a little on the fatty side and smaller in size on the plate. The tiramisu for dessert was spectacular - never had a better tiramisu! We had a Groupon and we accidentally tipped on the machine in % so it didn't calculate right, so we we left cash on the table. Prices are fairly expensive here, but it was very well worth the Groupon!

Great night with friends in this intimate setting. Food and wine were delicious and everything was reasonably priced. Staff stayed late for us to hang out with out of town friends.

Title: Mixed Experience at Tigo TrattoriaI recently dined at Tigo Trattoria in Woodbridge and had a mixed experience. The restaurant has an old-world charm that takes you back to the 1900s, with two old men working as waiters. While this was a unique and interesting aspect, my dining experience had a few hiccups.Upon being seated, I noticed that the table was unstable and wiggling left and right. The waiter tried to fix it while I was looking at the menu. I ordered the beef carpaccio, which was surprisingly tasty and enjoyable. I liked it so much that I later ordered 4 beef carpaccios to go, and they were put in one container for me.However, the issue arose when I was paying the bill. The total came out to be around $130, and I paid with my card. The waiter took the card machine and left but later returned to ask me why I didn't tip him. While I don't mind tipping for good service when dining in, in my case, I mainly ordered to take away with me. The fact that the waiter asked me about tipping and tried to impose it on me was a bit bothersome and left me feeling uncomfortable.Overall, I would give Tigo Trattoria a three-star rating out of five, mainly because of the beef carpaccio. While the restaurant has an interesting ambiance, the wobbly table and the waiter's behavior left a sour taste in my mouth.

Tigo Trattoria Woodbridge
This place is one of the best Italian place to dine in the GTA. The food is spectacular and the staff is so friendly. They provide exceptional service. The ingredients are so fresh and the food is packed either flavour and cooked to perfection. Loved everything about the dining experience and is definitely my go to spot.
