Prairie Oasis Campground

Great. Clean water, there is a camping. Trees for shade, tables. Everything is clean and beautiful. There is also a toilet, shower, playground and shop where you can buy food and ice cream.

We chose one of the group settings with space to moor our boat. The place was clean and the price per night was really good. We have been a few times but this was the first camping with friends. We will definitely be going again.

Super impressed with the whole site. Excellent amenities, clean, well maintained and worth the money. Wish we could stay longer. Oh and they have a dog beach!

The special areas girls that were working this summer made our experience unenjoyable perhaps some more rigorous training and hiring practices for being polite and personable. The camp carers were lovely on the other hand.

A hidden gem in the prairies! Large sites with lots of privacy. Multiple playgrounds and a fantastic beach with a sandy bottomed lake. A well stocked camp store with lots of variety of supplies and treats. Have yet to try the shack burgers but the looks on peoples faces seem to indicate they are very good! 4 stars because:Sheerness power plant is right across from the lake. Maybe it contributes to the warm waters of the lake but the power plant and surrounding power lines do cut into the views. No sewage hookups. There is a dump near the entrance and you can use the bathroom facilities there to minimize your RV usage. Don't forget to bring a cheque or cash as you cannot pay for your stay using a card. Having said that you can do a cash withdrawal via interac at the camp store.

Very well managed with friendly staff. Spotless bathrooms, which is rare for a campground. Lake is great for boating and the water is a nice temperature. Quiet marina for docking your watercraft if you're camped there as well.Very reasonable pricing for sites with water and electric. Definitely would go back again

Nice large campground. All stalls powered with water. Beach area and some activities. Pay showers. The reason for a lower star is in the evening this place swarms with mosquitos and makes it harder to enjoy the fire with the stars above.

Perfect for a summer getaway. No commercial buildings on sight, not too crowded, just pure relaxation. It is always a best day ever" coming here."
