Purple Bubble Asian Cuisine

The Korean hot dogs and bubble tea keep me coming back. They recently added more add-ons for the hotdog which is cool. There is usually a bit of a wait since it's quite popular. My only complaint is that they only let you choose three sauces for your Korean hotdog and I do love my sauces!

This is the best Thai place in all of Durham. We ordered the Green Thai curry and the bubble teas are fantastic too. Surely recommend trying the Green Thai Curry. One thing, I really admired about this place is that each dish has a spice level. It is not generic where the dish is too spicy and you wont enjoy it. Also recommend the Mango Milk Tea which is really refreshing. Lots of place to sit and enjoy. The customer service is excellent. Will surely return again in the near future.

Food was good, not a good experience. The service is not great. No sense of urgency at cash. It was my first time trying Korean hotdogs. I have asked a few questions I did not get an answer to and got pointed to a menu. The electronic menu switches too fast to figure it out, and the paper menu does not have this item.Most of the time, employees were talking.If you don’t like loud noises - do not go there. Sure there are better ways to cancel the noise - get covers, see what other places do.

Had the halal corn dogs! Pretty great tasting. Serves were very very helpful. Slowly bringing halal into their menu. Went back a few more times since

One of the best Thai places in Durham hands down! This place is located in Ajax in a plaza that has many other outlet shops. Great if you want to go for a little shopping and then go to purple bubble to grab some food or drinks.I have been to this place many times before and the standard and quality has grown immensely over the past few years. They have a wide variety of food from main course dishes, appetizers, corn dogs to drinks such as bubble tea etc.We got the two Thai basil fried chicken rice. They asked us to rate the spice level on a scale from 0–5. I am a lover of spice so level 5 was just the right amount of spice. The dishes tasted amazing. We also got the chefs special Thai basil which is different from the Thai basil rice. The chefs special comes with white jasmine rice, chicken and a whole load of vegetables which complements the rest of the dishes very well. The chefs special also includes one can of pop. Lastly, we got the beef Thai basil fried rice. It was really good too but in comparison to the chicken, I would definitely order the chicken again. I felt the beef was a little too sweet in comparison to the rest of the dish.Overall, the food was amazing and definitely worth coming back again. I would highly recommend people to order ahead of time as they are very busy and can take a lot of time to prepare the dishes - even if your order is small. The prices of the food have gone up over the past few years but that is expected with the rest of the economy. Nonetheless, for the quantity of food you get, the price is just right. The customer service is excellent and staff are very friendly. I would highly recommend everyone to check this place out and i myself will definitely be coming back again.

This place has the best wonton soup I have ever had. The inside is loud, they have so many people coming in for bubble tea and they blend all their fresh ingredients each time. I always call ahead and the time they tell you it will take is always accurate.

Great taste. Good staff. Quick service. Nice ambience. I recommend going here if you want to get a quick tasty drink after a meal.

Overpriced and very average Chinese food at best. Not authentic seasoning and definitely no wok taste. I would almost describe it as westernized food, but not exactly. Their beef and broccoli was sweet, and the sweet and sour pork dry and tough. Their noodle and rice dishes faired better, but the price was a let down. Did not try the BBT, because the prices turned me off. Their large BBT is most places Regular. On the positive side, staff were nice and friendly, and the BBT environment was different and interesting, but not enough for me to go back. Oh .... and for some strange reason, they have the largest, heaviest, utensils you can imagine. I suppose its heavy duty to pierce through their tough sweet and sour pork.....very odd.

Stopped in on a weekday and they seemed very busy, I felt like there was not enough time to decide so I just ordered the Korean corn dogs one with hot dog and cheese as well as the watermelon slush. Everything was great and I didn’t add the sauces which I should have lol next time I’ll be more prepared with the add Ons but if the original plain was really good than I can only imagine the put together corn dogs. The watermelon slush is a must, very refreshing with watermelon bursts in the tapioca it was great. Def go back and try their actual food as well 4.5/5 ⭐️

Been coming for the bubble tea here for the last few months and it is my go-to spot!Milk teas are always good and service is quick and consistent despite their rush. Prices are also competitive compared to the other tea spots in the area.I personally love their Taro and Mango milk tea!Overall do recommend coming here if you want some good bubble tea in Ajax.
