Beautiful, peaceful place. Stayed in cottage 6. Dawn was an amazing host. The place is super modern, very clean. We will be back!

This is our second visit. Cottages very clean and fully stocked everything we need. Beds really comfortable! For children play area. Pet’s friendly. Lots of activities to do ( swimming,kayaking,canoeing).Great view over looking the lake from deck. We love it so much! Very beautiful and peaceful. We can recommend for sure!

I feel very conflicted about paradise escape cottages. My husband and I went the first time in 2020, we stayed in one up the updated cabins and truly loved it. We had no complaints at all.Then this year we booked the main house because we wanted to have the pool table available since it’s so cold outside, and the hot tub for when we want to be outside. The main house sleeps 12, and we were only two people. So essentially, we paid to stay in a huge house simply for the pool table.We arrived at check-in time and were informed we couldn’t use the hot tub until the next day because it needed to be drained (annoying because they should anticipate that guests want to use the hot tub on each day of their stay, however I understood that the water needed to be changed and didn’t complain). Then we got inside only to find all seven pool sticks were missing the tips. Essentially unusable! So the very first night we couldn’t use either of the two amenities that makes paradise escapes appealing.I messaged the manager/housekeeper and she was very nice, but said all she can do is get new tips and glue them on. She came over about an hour later and glued them on, but they didn’t work well. Pool table was also lopsided and held up with newspapers and pieces of wood (see pictures) she also ‘allowed’ us to use the hot tub at one of the other cabins, but making the trek up the hill in the freezing cold wasn’t too fun. We asked if we could just move into one of the smaller cabins since we can’t use the pool table (manager said they were all empty for our stay, but I believe two of them were taken a day or two after we arrived) Then she suggested she would ask the owner if we could pay the regular cabin price for the inconvenience… so she did, and the owner responded and said “the hot tub isn’t our fault and no one else has complained about the pool table” so basically a big fat NO to any kind of customer resolution. It was like a 25$ difference a night, so the owner would have lost around 100$ and still had a satisfied, returning customer.The main house is old, drafty, and there is absolutely NO privacy. Huge sliding glass door where you can directly see into the living room and kitchen. This door was also extremely difficult to lock, so didn’t feel very safe. Front sliding glass door leads to front door (again to see into living room and bedroom hallway) and no cover. I definitely suggest staying in the updated cabins instead.We paid 1,000$ in 2020 for our stay and were very satisfied because everything was great, but the second we had to make a complaint this trip the owner didn’t care to resolve any of them. Customer service can go a LONG way, and telling your customers that are paying a lot of money to basically F off isn’t a great way to get return customers or good reviews.So I’m giving the bad rating due to really poor customer service on the owner’s part. Had they actually attempted to resolve our complaints or even apologize for the inconvenience, I would have given it 3-4 stars since I had such a good experience last year. Amenities are only a small part of the puzzle, a good atmosphere and customer service is the other large part. Also, after reading the owner’s response to other poor reviews calling them scammers, I can only imagine the response I’ll get to this!

Just returned home from our stay with our family. It was such a nice and quiet getaway after the Christmas Holidays! Dawn was so lovely and accommodating! The cabin was BEAUTIFUL!! Would definitely like to check it out in the summer time!Highly recommend!

We stayed in the main house which is attached to the store. When we first arrived I was worried there was going to be no privacy with it being attached to the store. This was not the case. We definitely felt like we had our own little Lakehouse! Everything was nice and clean and the two ladies running the park are absolutely amazing! They went way over and above to make sure that we were comfortable and we’re not going without anything we needed. They were honestly so great! We stay a lot of places and it was nice to stay somewhere where the beds are actually comfortable and they give them appropriate amount of pillows and bedding needed lol We enjoyed fishing, the hot tub and the sauna! It felt like our own little paradise. My only complaint was that the owners showed up to days before we left and seemed kind of rude. They definitely were not friendly or welcoming. Also their kids kind of took over the beach and it kind of just felt like Maybe if you owned a place like this, and your kids were there you would explain to your kids that the guests get first dibs on the beach toys and water activities. They had no problem coming up and asking our kids to hand them over when they wanted to play. I’m all about sharing but it just seems like you would maybe explain to the kids that these are paying customers. Other than the owners who seemed very antisocial and unfriendly,everything else was awesome!I cannot Say enough how amazing the two ladies running the property were so I completely amazing!

We loved our time!! The staff is helpful and quick to respond. The cottage was clean and comfortable with room for all 6 of us (2 adults + 4 kids). The kitchen has full sized appliances and a charcoal bbq (bring your own charcoal). Wifi was reliable so I could work when required. We had one issue which we felt the owner handled fairly. We look forward to our next visit!!

We absolutely love this place!!! Have been a number of times. The cottages are amazing, cozy and peaceful!! The personal outdoor hottub/sauna combo is something you can’t find anywhere!! Affordable?? Absolutely!!!!

Chip truck provided fresh hot food fast ! the cheese burger and sausage on a bun were soo good they didn't make the pictures. The ladies running it were above and beyond accommodating and friendly!! The views are amazing!!

Stayed here for a week in the main house. I want to start by saying the ladies that run that place (Tina and Dawn) are AMAZING. They practically live there. They are extremely accommodating, friendly and just wonderful. They always have a smile on their face. They made my families experience what it was. Honestly, they deserve a raise because if it weren't for them I wouldn't have enjoyed my stay as much as I did. The place was extremely clean on the inside. The beds are VERY comfortable. The kitchen came with everything we needed. The beach area is very tiny but not bad for being on a lake. I read reviews before going and seen one that said there were no curtains. They have fixed that problem which made it very private inside. The outside is pretty private except for the occasional person walking by or ppl using the water but we didn't find an issue with it. Another review said they were annoyed by it being attached the office/store but it didn't bother us. It's not very busy in the office/store. A few recommendations I would have is to have chairs for around the firepit because we didn't bring lawn chairs assuming there would be chairs (there is an adult sized picnic table and a kids' size but didn't want to drag it to the firepit). Another recommendation would be hooks on the outside of the sauna closest to the hottub so there is a place to hang towels when using hottub. We were a little disappointed that the website says there is a waterslide and seadoos as those were main things we really wanted but when we got there they said the seadoos have been broken for a while and the slide was taken down due to COVID. The food truck is pretty good too. Based on the price I would say our trip was very worth it and can see myself returning.

Had a fabulous time! Staff was super friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. (Never worked a Sauna before).Very clean and comfortable. The hot tub and Sauna was definitely a renting feature, with privacy!The Cabin was beautiful, with rustic decor.Kitchen was fully loaded with everything you would need to cook your own meals. The bed was comfortable, I’ve never been more comfortable in a rented spot with a comfy bed…. We WILL be coming back!!
