La Grande Roue de Montréal

This is definitely a must try experience when visiting the old port of Montreal. At 60m high, you’ll have an amazing view of the city and the river. We enjoyed sunset view from top !! The cabins were clean and have climate control which is a great plus. You can also manually control the temperature settings to your preference. The staff were helpful.

The views of the downtown were pretty good, the views on the other side were not that great. However, the ride is worth the price and we were able to stay on it for a decent amount of time. I liked the fact that every group/family was given their own pods.

Great view of the city. The wheel covers 3 rotations which gives ample to enjoy the view and snap some pictures/videos in an air-conditioned booth.Pricey for a 10-15 min ride though!

Worth a visit. You go around 3 times, making it easy to look in every direction. Each party/group was placed in their own gondola, which had temperature controls inside to keep us comfortable. You can see a lot on a clear day.

This entire area was energetic and full of life, love, food, music and fun things to do. This reminds me of Navy Pier in Chicago, but on steroids. Heck, Circus Du Soliel was here and an Island festival was going on at the same time

Snuck in a ride on the wheel before seeing the newest cirque show at the old port. There was no line, and our group of 3 ended up with our own cabin.. what a bonus. The views are incredible, seats and the cabin are comfortable, and riders have control of the cabin temperature. 20 minutes went by way too fast, but it was enjoyed by all. Unsure how busy this gets at the height of summer, but the week before the long weekend was perfect.

I visited on 3/21/23. It’s a great view of the city and river. Not much happening on the ground due to it being cold still but it looks like it has a lot of fun shops which open in warmer weather. Ticket was 30.00 per person, you go around three times, ~20 minutes. Lots of room and they are temperature controlled.

Our girl has been asking for this since day 1 so here we were, going on the Ferris wheel on a smogy day.2 adults and 1 kid came up to be around CAD$83.The wait wasn’t long so it was better than the one in Niagara Falls, for example.The view was nice. Like someone’s review mentioned, the view was nicer on one side.The 10-min ride was quite enjoyable with air conditioning on a hot summer day.
