Freeport Whale & Seabird Tours

One of the best day of my life. An amazing experience. Saw more than 7 whales with their tails. The crew is super friendly and are quite accomodating. I highly recommend this experience once in your lifetime with Freeport Whale and Seabird tours!

We did this tour on July 4th 2023. Amazing experience Brad the Captain and Mandy were awesome. Highly recommend d this tour, good size boat not over crowded, they really made sure we saw some whales. Amazing time. We saw 3 whales. Great show.

Me , my wife and daughter took a whale watching tour here the first week of August and had the best time!! Best experience of a lifetime for sure! And a great price. Lucky for us it was a beautiful day. We saw 3 different groups of humpback whales. And we actually got to see one of them Breach! Amazing. There is seating for everyone on board. And a bathroom. We were gone for 3 hours. The crew were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. And dealing with Jelaine when booking was top notch customer service. Seriously. She is amazing too. And so kind! If your driving from Halifax like we did, it’s 3 1/2 hours. Each way. So take an afternoon or evening tour, But definitely worth it! We would absolutely come back. Thanks for a great time !

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Mandy was very knowledgeable, funny and professional and Bradley made sure we were right besides the whales for most of our tour. Must join these guys to see the most beautiful creatures of the sea! On our trip we saw 8 whales of which 2 babies, and about 100 dolphins. Definitely will be back, thank you for making our trip unforgettable!

My family and I had our first tour today and it was amazing and we have already decided it will become our annual summer trip! Mandy was our guide, and Bradley our captain; Mandy was so friendly and knowledgeable, and made the tour so much fun. It was fairly foggy, but our knew where to go to see some whales. We saw 4 or 5 whales, including a momma and her calf, some dolphins, a seal, some puffins and other seabirds. It's always been my dream to see whales up close, and this is the tour to do it! We were also able to bring our dog on board with us! 100% recommend, and we will be back!! Thank you Mandy and Bradley!

We booked the 5pm tour on Thursday July 11/19 and we had the greatest experience !! Our guide was amazing, super friendly and very knowledgable!! We lucked out and got to see a bunch of whales, and one of them breached 3 times right in front of us, he was rolling onto his back and smashing his fins in the water, it was the coolest thing ever. At one point we had whales around the entire boat, I can't describe how great this day was !Another bonus, we were able to bring out dog on boat as well! If we could rate this company it would be 100/100 ! Thank you so much for this once in a lifetime experience we couldn't have asked for a better time!!

You can’t miss it if you are around Digby area!! ♥️♥️♥️my pictures don’t even do justice to what my eyes saw!!Seriously recommend this company, I’m 22 weeks pregnant and had no issues it’s not a bumpy road, my baby appreciated the whales too and moved a lot when they where around! Overall and incredible experience!!

July 2 we went there for the tour, this is our second trip (last time was many yrs ago). We have a group of 6 but 4 of them missed the time line by taking ferry again to next island, they helped us to solve the problem. The tour itself was great, they tried very hard to find the whale and dolphin and sea birds so to make the trip a worthy one for us. They work very hard to make it a great memory for us, very nice people and easy communication. Highly recommended.

Freeport whale watching is fantastic! The crew knows their stuff and the boat is the perfect size. Not as big as some others and not as small as a zodiac. We had a great time and saw three whales and two dolphins (briefly) despite a very foggy day!

The best Whale watching tour I ever been on by a country mile. Where do I start the crew was fantastic very knowledgeable and professional I forgot the name of the girl who was doing the commentary she was amazing. Once you get on the boat they will take you exactly where you can see whales we were so lucky we got to see 9 Humpback whale in total at different times. The entire trip was such an experience I would definitely do it again. Please eat GRAVOL if you have motion sickness because you will puke if you didn’t took some before the trip began. Cost of the tour was very reasonable.
