I love absolutely love and respect what they do, and they have such a convenient dropoff location (Pembina vet) open 24hours. Always helpful when I call with questions. Thanks for all the goose advice!!

PWRC is my go-to! I always call. They are quick, knowledgeable, and patient - I panic when I see a baby bird or baby bunny by itself, and the person I’m talking to calms me down to tell me exactly what I need to do. I’ve called a few more times to follow-up on the animal I dropped off.

What a great booth at the Festival du voyageur. We loved meeting your gorgeous raven and hearing about the rescue. You do fantastic work, and it was such a treat to run into you at Festival. Thank you again. Keep up the kindness. The world needs as much of that as it can get.

This place is a joke. How are you a wildlife rehabilitation center if you aren’t going to rehabilitate all wildlife? We called yesterday to alert them of a baby deer that was left in the middle of a park. They said to leave it and see if the mom comes back. We did that.We checked back at 11pm, it was still there. Same spot. Crying for help.We put a cardboard box down so it would have shelter as a thunderstorm was beginning. They said to call them in the morning if it was still there and THEN they’d come pick it up.This morning when we went back to check on it, it was dead. Inside the cardboard box. Meaning this little angel crawled into the box we left for shelter from the harsh weather conditions, and died all By itself. Scared, wet, cold, and without its mother. Wherever she was.We called back this morning to thank them for nothing & to come collect the corpse now. They instructed us to “bring it into a nearby forested area or place it in a garbage”. A garbage?? Are you kidding me? How heartless do you have to be. Also, this is not the job of a citizen, it is the job of a WILDLIFE REHAB CENTER.They also said they “can’t rehab a deer as the province doesn’t allow it”. They would’ve just “euthanized it” anyways. We spoke to another rehab Center which I wish we called before that said that is absolutely not true.We are heartbroken and disgusted by this absolute joke of a facility.

TERRIBLE. NEVER TRUST THESE PEOPLE.We brought in an injured bird we found in our yard. We told them that we would be taking it back to release it at home, and close to it's family.HOWEVER these people SOMEHOW let it get away!!!!!!!!!!!

They work tirelessly to care for all animals brought to them. They are knowledgeable and a good resource for any questions you have about possible injured or orphaned animals.
