Tutto is an upscale Italian flair in the heart of downtown. We booked for a special occasion meal and was not disappointed.For starters we got the Carpaccio di Manzo, Foccacia della Casa as well as the grilled Humbolt Squid. The carpaccio was razor thin and to be honest I tasted more of the Parmesan than the beef, but it was a tasty dish nonetheless.The grilled humbolt squid was tender, but still had a bite. Focaccia was a bit pricey for a few slices, but overall it was soft with a crispy crust.We couldn’t decide for our mains, so at the end we ordered three mains to share between 2 people. Excessive I know, but we’re glad we did as we feel we had a good sampling of their menu.First up was their featured mixed grill, with a piece of sea bass, tiger prawns and veal piccata. The sea bass was hands down the best out of the three. The tiger prawns was just a tad bit over cooked IMO. The veal was tender as expected but not very memorable.We also got the Spaghetti Di Mare, which was made with squid ink pasta. While the dish was well executed, it was a bit too oily and kind of bland. The plus side is it came with two big scallops.Finally the ribeye took the show, it was perfectly done and the accompaniments went well with everything else. We ended up finishing the steak fish, so we moved the pasta into the steak jus to mix it up and give it some flavour.Service was speedy and accommodating. The atmosphere was rustic with very detailed ceiling murals, definitely a great experience and a perfect place for a date night.

The service was exceptional from the moment we walked in, to our exit. The food was spectacular. My main was the Lobster Tagliatelle which has large lobster pieces, a tiny hint of heat, and all around great flavours. Our server had the perfect attentiveness, and helped make it a wonderful dining experience.

Great modern style Italian restaurant. Wife had a birthday celebration which was welcomed by the staff who provided great service. Food is fantastic overall. Lobster pasta amazing. Love the tiramisu. Only letdown was calamari appetiser (a little bland) which for $24 could have been better! Seems like it could get noisy inside.

Wonderful dining experience. Our server Jennifer was amazing as well the three other servers. The food and atmosphere was wonderful. (The food came a little to quickly-before we could finish our cocktails). Sea bass was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be recommending this gem of a restaurant to friends visiting Vancouver.

Food was really good, we had sablefish and arctic char, and tiramisu for dessert.Nice service and atmosphere. Can be a little loud in the dining room. Chairs are comfortable.

We visit in a late afternoon and try a few different starters/pastas. It tastes good but not yet up to the expectations for the price is a bit high. The waiter always come to ask if we need anything. Change a new plate and utensil each time before the next round of dishes. The sitting are comfortable enough. In general, I will recommend to visit for dinnertime.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in downtown! Such sophisticated atmosphere/vibe and is a great place to go on a special occasion. I love the interior of the restaurant and its open kitchen concept, and they have exceptional customer service which is a plus.I don't remember the earl grey dessert name, but this was bang on as an earl grey lover (although I had to scoop out the caramel sauce because it was way too sweet). The gelato was just a typical gelato that you can expect!I've tried:- Spaghetti di Mare (4.5/5)- Parmigiano Crusted Halibut (3/5)- Funghi e Tartufo Pizza (4/5)- Gelato o Sorbetto (4/5)

Their carpaccio beef with the truffles were fantastic, but everything else fell short.The beef short ribs were basically stuffed like ravioli and to make things worse, it was not tender at all. I had high hopes for the sablefish, but it was basically flavourless. I would definitely recommend cooking that in a glazed style instead of whatever they did because it was so close to being good, but missed the mark.This was also the first Italian place that I’ve visited where they did not provide complimentary bread, which isn’t a huge issue to me, but just something to think about regarding the way that the owners want to run a business. So you would think when we ordered the bread, it would taste good, but clearly my expectations were too high for this place. Add that to the fact that our two entrees took 45mins to arrive and you can imagine how I felt when the food wasn’t even good.
