Vermin Scooter Shop

they have lots of different scooter parts and are pretty nice people. i have heard that they do not know a lot about hardware and stuff but i have not had a problem with that.this is a pretty good scooter shop except for their hours. it is open only a small time during the day and only 4 days a week which does not include sunday.

Went with my GF and her son to get a scooter from this place. We had a very polite and helpful young man that helped us pick out a scooter and answered various questions we had. Upon picking out the scooter my step son wanted, I decided to hop on one and wheel from one side of the store to the other (very short distance) and keep in mind we’re in a scooter store and other people were doing the same thing. The owner felt inclined to tell me in front of the whole store can you please not do that , I asked why? He said if you aren’t going to buy it don’t do that as You’re “wearing the brake”.First off pal I'm not 12, second off, I have big feet and barely touched the brake. That comment was entirely off putting and I had to bite my tongue because my step son wanted a scooter and i didn’t want to be the reason he couldn’t get a nice one there as I would of left right then and there if it wasn’t for him. Let’s check back into reality here for a moment - you own a scooter store. People are going to ride and test your merchandise it comes with the territory.. that’s like telling someone in a bicycle shop hey please don’t press the brake unless you buy it. This guy has came off as super rude and this will be the last scooter purchased by my family , I would not recommend this place to my friends or family either so good job on losing business there pal, your staff were very helpful and friendly you on the other hand need some work. Very disingenuous owner , came across as super fake as well, after reading the reviews I can see this guy is a real treat …enjoy the $294 you won’t be seeing any more money from us again.

Gotta be the best scoot shop in all of Calgary bought from here multiple times with no issues, staff also offers to install for free!

Do yourself a favour and DO NOT buy a scooter for your kid online! You need to get the right size and format for their skill level. These guys took so much time making sure my son (he just turned 6) got the right unit for his style, and it’s sized so that he can ride it now, but will also get a good few years out of it. The shops hours are limited so you need to thread the needle to go see them. Well worth the time and drive, and appreciate their expertise. The one place in Calgary to get trick scooters.

Very helpful and informative owner, I appreciated the large selection of parts and accessories. I didn’t end up spending a lot of money and got everything I needed for my scooter, everything seems to be priced fairly, they also gave me a nice T-Shirt complimentary. Very good experience overall, I would recommend coming here for scooter parts and for scooter knowledge.

Leaving a five star because this is just a comment.Owner - I understand that these are hard times for retailers like you; however, your replies are incredibly petulant and immature when responding to negative reviews. Incredibly unprofessional and I will never shop there based on your replies - not the negative reviews.

He does everything for the money. I wanted get new grips installed but he said he would have to cut the old ones off, I said can’t you just use water or an air compressor but he said he’s have to cut them iff witch is wrong. When I asked him about warranty he talked to me like I was an idiot. And I’ve never heard anything good about the owner. But I must say everyone else who works there is great!

Just bought a first scooter from these guys for my 5-year-old daughter - such a great experience. Owner was super passionate and was happy to answer all questions even though I showed up right as he closed. I can't say I have too many scooter needs day-to-day, but when I do, I'll certainly returnn to Vermin.
