Buckhorn Yacht Harbour

2 visits to this establishment. First was about 10:30am where we were met with a friendly gas attendant. Second visit was the next day at 4pm. Hours clearly stated 4:30pm was the close time. They had closed early which left me out of options to get my seadoo rental back to buck eye marine. Now being stung with a pick up fee for my lack of gas I had to get it back. This will be my last option when choosing gas now and only if a last resort.

Beautiful facility. The owner, John, is extremely knowledgeable about boats an propellers. He made a recommendation for a 4 blade prop based on how I use my boat and it works great! I highly recommend this business.

We wanted to restore my father's boat to give our Mom of 92 a ride and BYH did an amazing job and a fair price...I wouldn't go anywhere else now...thanks Peter, Cindy and your great team!

This is the most well deserved 10 stars plus rating marina.From the lot to the landscaping, covered slips to the workshop, everything about this marina is well managed, beautifully landscape, clean and well organized slip.Their waiting list is long, would love to be boating in a facility like this.

Beautiful spot. Reasonably quick boat service. Provided realistic time frame of service and met expectations.Job on time and in line with quote. With clear communication from the service department.

Fantastic service from the parts, service and prop shops. I have had the misfortune of requiring their service more than once. Yeah it was the rocks fault (lol). Service was friendly, understanding and prompt. Boat winterization is quick and done properly. I have never had any issues in the spring. Motors start right away.

Significant canvass repair request was made last-minute. They were able to squeeze me in to make the repairs quickly and perfectly. I am extremely happy with the workmanship and the costs were very reasonable. Would recommend them for this service!

We have our boat stored at the yacht harbour, they take good acre of it in storage and getting it ready for the season. Owner and the staff are great to deal with.

Great marina run by a very good family. All bases are covered from props, engines, interior and exterior, gas bar and most anything boat related. Highly recommended.Negative is lots of loud dogs barking all hours of the day and night. Also, the prop shop is quite loud and located to close to the boaters given the machine compressors are running constantly.

We paid for an overnight dockside stay in 2020.On the positive, the Marina is very very clean.On the negative:1. Neither the owners nor the seasonal slip holders would share the wifi code. There is wifi but you are not allowed to use it. They can, but you can’t, even though you paid for the night.2. Dogs are not allowed on the GRASS. Big sign to that effect. We were officiously reprimanded when our dog, who had been on the boat all day, was lying at our feet by our lawn chairs on the grass. Dogs are also supposed to do their business on the pavement or the gravel drive. Not allowed on the grass.3. The overnight dock is wide open to the lake and boat traffic wakes. The lake is very busy with boat traffic and our boat rocked wildly until sundown.This may be a great place to stay for the season (if you don’t have a dog) but I don’t recommend it for overnighters.
