Bowling at The Canadian Brewhouse - Uptown

Waited 9 minutes at hostess stand with no acknowledgement from all staff walking past us. As per licensing, we were not allowed to have our drinks with us while bowling. We are able to order drinks that can be kept at the one table below and to the side; however, you cannot see them. Especially if you are not at the first lane to the right. We didn't even finish our drinks for this reason. Please come up with a better solution for this as this is very unsafe. On a bright note our server was amazing. She was busy but very sweet and helpful.

I have given it a couple tries now and I just can't love it. The service is unbelievably slow, the servers are rude and the prices are very high!I've been to a few of the Canadian Brewhouses in Calgary and always enjoyed it, but Victoria is really not meeting theor standards in my opinion.

First, and probably last time going there.We were with a small group, but not informed beforehand there was a forced 18% gratuity, until the bill came. I was in a hurry to get out, so I just paid it, but in retrospect, I should have demanded it be removed because the service was not great, the server was a bit rude, and it was hard flagging her down at times.I had the tacos which were really bad and tasteless. The fish taco had no sauce and just some stale lettuce and chopped tomato. The beef taco had no sauce either and tasted like cardboard. My wife had similar complaints about her food. Couldn't find the server to complain and I didn't really want to either because I felt if I did, my replacement plate would get something on it I would rather not eat.One of our group got her order which had a sauce she requested not be on it. The server took it away from her, but asked if anyone else in the group wanted it. We assumed it was comped because it was a wrong order. But nope, she told us we'd be charged for the plate if we kept it. So it went back to the kitchen.My wife had a long island iced tea which she said tasted completely watered down and she questioned whether there was any alcohol at all in the drink. Again, because of the server's attitude, she decided not to complain.I guess on the upside, the first traditional margarita I had was okay, and faithful to the drink. The second had more ice, and the last one was just all ice, and I couldn't even taste alcohol (the measly 1oz they are supposed to put in)The coup de graçe was, after this poor service, poor food and drink, they force a 18% gratuity on you. IMO, these guaranteed" gratuities only guarantee one thing: poor service.Not going back."

Went to the brewhouse for some brewskis with the squad and I have to say that the vibes were phenomenal. The menu is full of options. The bartender Grae was slayin the absolute game behind the bar, and our server Taylor was the sweetest and most attentive. Get your Friends, get to the brewhouse, get some dangles, and get the good times going. Downtown is overrated. See you there !

Sharon was an absolute delight. Batting cages were chuckin’ heat and we drank a jug of Stanley Park and socked some dingers. All in all nothing to complain about.

Service was very slow for not being busy took over one hour to get as cold food food was notice I was over cooked. They messed up on the strength and they took 20 minutes to get drink on table this place needs to be more organized your stuff and you guys need to do it way better job for your customers and will not return to this place. Not very organized place at all. Not worth a price what your pay for cold food over priced not returning at all and I will not tell anybody to go to this place went downhill big-time not press get that around trying to organize and have better quality food food is way over price for what you get. You guys should not be running our place like that if you can’t know how to run it properly.

Such a fun place to be! I loved the rooftop patio with the batting cages. My server Kaylene was kind and knowledgeable. Next time you’re going out, you gotta eat here!

Came here today for my daughters birthday and honestly I will not come back here or recommend this place.1. Our food came out on dirty plates.2. The server was very forgetful and messed up on our orders.3. Served us raw food and rotting lettuce on our wraps also gave the kids slimy cucumbers and old celery.4. The lack of service and knowledge just blew our minds.5. We had to get our own drinks clear our own tables.All around not the greats place to go and the food was sub par. Needless to say we are not impressed and this was the icing on the cake. Next time I will listen to the reviews and word of mouth views.

Our server Jocelyn was lovely! Very attentive and friendly. We had fun!

I love this place! The bulldog drink is bomb!! Our server Jocelyn is the best we live her!!!
