Kin's Farm Market

We went to this market at 6:40 Pm today to buy Tofu.When we were there, two employees were trying to prepare for closing. After we picked up Tofu, we were trying to pay and wait for the cashier. But no one is coming for us and one of the employees started slamming the equipment to the box very loudly and ignoring us for a few minutes.Maybe he was having a bad day and I can understand sometimes people are having a bad mood.But what I can NOT understand is HE DIDN'T TALK AT ALL while we are trying to pay.He didn't tell us how much it is, how do you like to pay or do you need a copy of the receipt he didn't say any words. We felt he is ignoring us on purpose.This is unacceptable in the customer service industry. At least, the cashier should let the customer knows how much it is. So customers can pay the correct price without a doubt.The manager or shop owner should educate him on how to work as a cashier also not slam equipment in front of customers.

Inconsistent opening hours and you have to watch your receipt, I had to go back recently as I was overcharged, not the first time that happened. The location on Davie street has much better variety and a more professional operation.

Well, they have fruits and vegetables. That's about the end of the positives.Inventory? Too bad they don't sell any essentials like milk, eggs, and a few cold items in a case. Nope, they've got none of that. Just fruit and veg.Prices? Sometimes reasonable; sometimes approaching astronomical.Staff? They've never said anything to me other than How do you want to pay?" Not one other word

I've been shopping for fruit and vegetables at this location for many years. The quality and freshness of the food is the best it's ever been.The produce is carefully presented with an eye to colour and shape. I don't see that often in a corner green grocer !Very friendly staff, a knowledgeable owner and quality produce make Kin's on Denman Street a great place to shop.

FALSE ADVERTISING and no apology for it! And it isn't the first time, either. They had baskets of figs and a sign that said $3.99 each... then they started counting figs and wanted to charge me $28 total...3.99 PER FIG! We don't pay 3.99 per blackberry, or per raspberry, do we? Pricing is always either by the basket or by weight, unless the fruit is loose. Ridiculous signage and no apology after I waited in line to pay. Also, you can almost always get fresher fruit for cheaper at NO FRILLS down the street.

Awesome little corner fruit and veggie market, always quick and friendly service, fantastic selection of fruit, and really good fresh quality of everything they sell. Prices are really good too! Competitive to the larger grocery stores. Limited parking nearby, but in the evening there's see parking in the area.

Always fresh fruits and vegetables for a good price! Pascual, my guinea pig loves their organic carrots! Yep! He knows his stuff!

I love polmelo！ I usually buy pomelo from kin’s farm and I was surprised how juicy and delicious they are and with so a thin peel, but didn’t made this as a big thing( write a review), until we bought pomelo from one another supermarket...pomelo was dry and with so thick peel that makes so difficult to peel them...So, I really like them and will visit kin’s more!

Love Kin's Market. It's conveniently located near me so I have access to fresh fruit and vegetables. But the staff and manager are so great. The manager took time to help me find the perfectly ripe avocado I needed for my salad. You know how tricky that can be!

I get almost all my produce from the Denman Kin's. It's smaller than other locations so it's very occasionally out of something. I prefer that though bc it's way better than over-buying and wasting. All the employees are friendly and helpful too.
