Finally I can go to the dentist without trepidation. Frankly I hated going to the dentist...mostly my own anxiety and my dental health suffered as a result...luckily I found Dr. Scherer through a dear friend who was very satisfied with her wonderful work.I needed extensive dental work for years but avoided the dentist due to my past experience at the dentist. I was pleasantly surprised with Dr. Karen on how EASY it was getting the freezing without pain AND NO numbness for hours after the visit. Just the RIGHT amount of freezing was a real treat..I have had in the past 3 months 1 filling, 2 crowns and 1st stage of dental implants along with a NEW great smile through her cosmetic work on my front teeth-both upper and lower..I now look forward to continue my restoration work. It has being such an improvement in such a short time. Great results.Dr. Karen is always smiling and you can see she has great empathy for the timid among us at the dentist office. You can see she takes great pride in her work and the before and after photos show that she is a perfectionist along with be very accessible to any concerns.Wish I had been recommended to her years ago

I'm a rather new patient of Dr. Scherer but I can already say she is extremely knowledgeable and takes great pride in what she is doing. She did a couple of fillings and both times it was a painless and quick experience. I even squeezed a nap during one of the filling appointments :)It's always a pleasure talking to dr. Scherer and her staff. She is an amazing interesting woman and all her staff is very personable and always positive. Especially Lucy, who is sitting at the reception.If you're looking for a new dentist - dr.Karen Scherer would be an amazing choice.

Dr.Karen is an amazing dentist!! She always makes friendly conversation and is very kind and caring! I have been coming here since I was a kid and will continue to come here as an adult. She fosters a very comfortable environment and makes me not dread the dentist! Highly recommend!

Me and my whole family have been going to Thornhill Village Dental for almost 20 years and always getting excellent service. Dr. Karen Scherer and her staff are incredible, everyone is super professional, friendly and does great job. The office is super clean and nice. Went recently after the lockdowns and felt very safe with all of the COVID measures in place and fully vaccinated staff. Highly recommend, I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I have been going to Thornhill Village Dental for many years. I am not a fan of needles and when Dr Scherer has to freeze my mouth, I do not feel the needle at all. She is amazing at what she does and I would recommend Dr Scherer to anyone that is in need of a great dentist.

I have been seeing Dr. Karen since last year and have had a great experience at her dental clinic. She is thorough with her work and explains everything that is going on - in terms that I understand! She takes time to chat and get to know her patients which I really appreciate. Her staff are friendly and provide promptly reminders for upcoming appointments.

Dr Karen is an absolute magician!!! I am a very nervous patient and she always takes the best care of me!!! Her freezings are painless and she takes an amazing care of my teeth for over 10 years!!! I highly recommend Dr Karen if you are in search of a great dentist!
