It's a liquor store. I have no complaints. They have a decent variety of every alcohol imaginable and are very clean and friendly.

Visiting some family this weekend in Toronto. Before we crossed the US border into Canada, I exchanged a good bit of US currency to CAD believing I would have enough for our trip. Long story short, something came up (of course) and I spent a lot more of my CAD than expected. Not being familiar with the Toronto or Canadian currency at all, I went into this LCBO. As soon as I walked in, I talked with a cashier and told him I wasn’t familiar with the banks around here / currency exchange and asked him if I purchased something with US currency, if I could possibly get my change in CAD. He was extremely kind and said it wouldn’t be a problem and that they’ve done it before. Fast forward a couple minutes and I go to checkout with another cashier. I explained the whole situation to him and he said “Do we look like a bank to you?” and gave me this extremely bad attitude. Once again, I explained the situation to him and reminded him that the cashier I talked with when I first walked in said it wouldn’t be a problem. As I’m explaining, a female cashier in the next lane over was mocking me and telling me to “go find him” in relation to the first cashier, almost as if I was lying. I looked around and he was nowhere to be found. The second cashier then agitatedly walked away to get his manager. At that point, I was completely over it all. I was about to leave and then the manager finally came out and agreed to do the exchange then helped me with information about exchanging my US currency (this was all I really wanted in the first place). When it was all said and done, I was the only one who apologized for the confusion. To be honest, this was one of the worst retail / customer service situations I’ve ever experienced. I get it, I should have exchanged more USD for CAD, but once I was told it wouldn’t be an issue, I felt certain that it wouldn’t be! I have never felt like such a burden to someone in my entire life.

They tell me they don't want to give me paper bags any more and that I can't move my business.

If I could leave no stars I would.I just left this location and will never support them again. Every time I have went in here I’ve been treated terrible by staff (mainly the one that this review is focused on) I’ve left feeling confused wondering why I deserve that treatment, and I don’t! Nobody does and I feel sorry for such judgemental people.I work in a restaurant in the same neighborhood as this location actually and I will no longer be using this location to restock my home or work bar.The older women with glasses, dark hair and bangs immediately changed her demeanour as my fiancé and I approached the check out purchasing my father a really nice bottle of rum for Father’s Day; no greeting, nothing…did however ask me for a bag and I declined made a joke about how I had a gift bag in the car in an attempt to make this entire experience a little less uncomfortable.The cashier did not ask if I needed the receipt and proceeded to rip it and go to throw it away, as the cashier went to throw it out I asked is that my receipt which the cashier replied yes then starred at it stunned hopefully thinking “wow I’ve just treated these people who’ve done nothing wrong and spent money in my place of work so I can have a job like trash”…. I was handed the torn receipt and said “that was so uncomfortable” and left tearful. I feel humiliated and judged based on appearance as my fiancé and I are fairly tattooed people. You work in a retail store where people of all walks of life are shopping, please check yourself and how you view and treat people because that was so unfair and embarrassing. I’m not one to leave negative reviews but if you have me crying in the parking lot feeling badly about myself you bet I will.
