The lady who assisted me was very kind & friendly. She was also very patient while I was choosing the right frame. I told her that I am a student and needed a cheaper option since I am still a student, she was eager to assist me. The Optometrist took the time to check my eyes, not in a hurry and very thorough. Definitely coming back to Emerald for my annual eye check. Thank youuuu!

This is a beautiful clinic with great aesthetics, but even better is the care you receive. Dr. Klar was very professional and took his time to evaluate the health of my eyes. I recommended all of my family members to go to this clinic for their eye exams. The other staff members were also very friendly and polite! Highly recommend!!

Right when you enter you are greeted with friendly smiles from the lovely ladies. The decor and ambiance is so relaxed and cheerful. Service was exceptional, Staff were so helpful and informative and I felt taken care of when I was there. Highly recommended.

Very friendly receptionists. Eye exams were carried out quickly and competently. Dr. Klar explained everything very well. Just one complaint: I was referred to Victoria Eye for a follow-up appointment. This turned out to be a racket where a large waiting room was filled with people waiting 1-2 hours past their appointment times. After 20 minutes I asked how much longer and was told it would be 20-40 minutes longer, so I cancelled and left. Emerald Eye should not refer people to this outfit.

A truly wonderful Optometrist!I needed a contact bandage for my left eye to help heal a condition I have, so I popped into my local Optometry office and couldn't be happier. Dr. Jason Klar is so kind, detailed and professional. He clearly knows his profession and operates his shop perfectly. He takes his time with you, never feeling like you're just a number, you're a guest. The staff remembers your name somehow when you come in a second time, really makes you feel like you belong there.If you're in need of any glasses or optometrist services and you live on the west shore, I would highly recommend you try Emerald Eye Care. If you live somewhere else in greater Victoria, drive out here to Colwood, because it is that great of a service!

Dr. Jason was fantastic! The best optometrist I ever had. The variety of sunglasses is fair, but sometimes the price is more than the one you can find online. However, the staff is too respectful and caring, and they did a price match for me. I am satisfied with the whole experience.
