Machi Machi

Quite expensive, almost $10 after tax. The panna cotta is good but tastes really heavy and I lost my appetite afterwards. The strawberry tastes like a watery milk shake (ice was not super even, some chunks). They are quite slow even with no line up, but I guess it’s fresh? However very spacious store, not really much seating but there are is a bench along the wall.

This location is very spacious, but not many seats available. The menu has very little non-caffeinated drinks, and they are mostly fixed in sugar and ice. Nevertheless, I tried their fresh taro latte and it was surprisingly good. Their gold pearls had a very good texture.

I ordered 2 oolong with foam cap without sugar, and I am extremely disappointed in how long it takes them to make the drinks. I don't understand how it takes 25minutes for me to get 2 drinks, while the next order is ready to go, but they won't give it out because mine is not ready. Even if you were to brew the tea fresh, it takes MAX 5 minutes to steep. So let's say 2 drinks, I give you 15min max where 5minutes is given to do whatever else you need to do... Which is as long as it should take to prep a drink in the first place. Apparently I should always allot 30minutes if I ever wish to get a drink from machi machi again in the future (IF I even wish to spend the time AND money for it).

I ordered a brown sugar latte thinking there would be pearls in there because almost all other bubble tea places serve brown sugar milk with pearls since that’s the classic drink combination. Even if this may be my fault for not reading the menu carefully but I am so disappointed that the cashier did not even ask if I wanted any toppings in it. Had I had pearls in my brown sugar drink I would be able to justify the costly price because it would taste good, but without pearls or any toppings I paid $7 for some sugary milk. Not only that, the amount of “fixed ice” in my drink was insane and other fixed iced drinks as well. I just think that the customer service and ingredient proportions can do way better for the price that all these drinks cost. I used to love going to machi but I really don’t think it’s worth the hype nor money anymore.

It was a very costly drink; I find that you are paying more for the cute packaging (that is very wasteful) rather than a delicious drink to enjoy.It's a very spacious place to take pictures but not someplace to stick around long as there's no seating to sit and spend time with friends.

I buy from here often. Other than their cream foam series they are 100% vegan. They use pea protein powder in place of milk which is amazing. My go to is definitely the mochi black with cream foam i definitely recommend. Their regular milk tea is pretty amazing as well. Their jelly bottles are PACKED. It could last me a few sittings. Overall i definitely recommend it especially to those with dietary restrictions.

Very cute new bubble tea place! Aesthetics aside, the quality of the drinks and service here is great. The three times I've been here, I tried three different items and all of them had a very strong tea flavour, which I like, and fresh pearls with a nice texture.There was a 10min line when we came on Sunday afternoon at around 3pm.

I ordered mochi black tea expecting some great mochi but it was just plain mochi, no filling. The drinks taste great but it would be way better if they were more customizable. I got the mochi drink because I wanted the mochi. I couldn’t care less for the black tea but it isn’t an option to get mochi with any drink.The look and feel of the store is depressing. I’m sure it was once beautiful but there is much maintenance to be done.Lastly, there was only one employee working the evening rush. Management really needs to take a look at this. It isn’t respectful or realistic to expect one worker to run an entire business. It is overwhelming for the employee and leads to long wait times for customers.

Drinks are beautiful and delicious!Service is also very good. I came in not knowing what to order and the girl offered to help with recommendations.Due to Covid there’s no seating areas inside but it can be easily turn into a quick hangout or meet up place.
