Harrison Hot Springs Mineral Pool

It was a great place like 10 years ago, but after covid its been really run down, the paint of the pool is peeling off, washrooms stink and looks so dirty. They dont seem to be cleaning the place at all. Its also very frustrating when on the wedsite they say they are open, but after a long ride (2 hour) they aren’t open. This is disappointing.

The website doesn't provide info about their schedule and nobody answered the phone after trying multiple times to contact them. Even if the schedule said it was open, it ended up being closed.

This pool is being run by the COMPETING hotel in the same town. Knowing that it would make sense that the pool is always closed since they want you to pay for the hotel instead.Pool is great, sad

$10 to get in, $5 to rent a towel... Went during the off season and the pool was filled with kids!! Found out this is the only public" hot spring in town and it's still run by the resort! Don't come here to relax!!"

If it wasn’t for the amazing pools this hotel wouldn’t survive. It’s floating on old charm but desperately needs an update. Everything is feeling a tad run down. Amenities are not up to standard. Cheap coffee pods in rooms, no tea bags, plastic glasses instead of glass, no microwave. And even with the pools they are piping in a radio oldie rock station over the speakers, so basically no thought into the ambient atmosphere. However, the trip back into the Harrison Time Machine works perfectly in their signature restaurant “ The Copper Kettle” which keeps the ballroom 80’s style fine dining restaurant intact with a lovely menu ( including escargot of course), great wait staff and a swing band on weekends. However, it is pretty cavernous, so for those wanting an intimate dinner setting, I would suggest trying up the street.

Nice, warm. A bit dated but it’s a nice hot pool. It’s all inside which is a bit of a downside. The area has other pools but sadly they don’t allow access to the public even though water is public which I don’t get. But this one does the job if your trying go get your fix of hot spring access or want to visit as many as you can in life. Downside is towels are 4.50 each for rentals. Our fault for forgetting ours. But glad we got to go. outside area around it is very nice. Would recommended camping or family trip this way

If you are looking for a small hot spring pool, this is a good one! The water quality in this public pool is very good. Also, its employees are very nice. We have been there a couple of times. We like it.

A group of several people came to the doors of a public pool that supposed to be open at 5 p.m. just to see that the pool is closed.It turns out that the pool is not going to be open tonight due to sick calls of the staff.Could someone make a public aware of this ahead of time so the people don't come ? Just put a simple note on a web site, or a sign on a door?Just to provide a fair treatment to the people? Just to show them that you value them as customers and appreciate their time and efforts?Very very disappointing and frustrating!

Depressing place in a depressing building. This town setting is beautiful but all the buildings are ugly, rundown and dated. They should build a beautiful indoor outdoor spa pool (think scandanavian spa) in this town - people travel here to be ultimately let down when they see the public pool or the 2 star hotel. Instead of spending money on an info Centre fix up the towns namesake. There are already tourists so why not help local business succeed and make the town a stunning destination. Brew pub to attract people under the age of 70. At least paint the ugly brown pool building with a beautiful mural from local artists. Have some pride!

It's an amazing place to relax and soak in the warm waters especially during the cold winter months. I found the change rooms, showers, and pool area to be extremely clean.It was closed recently for 1.5 months so that they could renovate the pool and it really is looking nice now. I would give it 5 stars if the hours they were open the whole day every day like they used to be.Before you go though make sure you call to ensure it is open as the hours can change day to day do to staffing troubles.
