Our cozy taproom is located adjacent to the exciting new Blatchford community, minutes within downtown Edmonton. We offer a wide selection of our own, locally produced, craft beer available in both the taproom and offsales.

I really enjoy this place, just north of downtown by the old airport and within walking distance from Nait. The staff is always friendly, and I like to start with a flight, on Friday they are on sale for about 10 dollars. After sampling four different kinds (last time I had the 1929 Kolsch, experimental cherry pilsner, pale ale, and saskatoon ale), I chose my favourite to get a pint of. My favourite was the 1929 Kolsch, which is a very light beer, but honestly they were all delicious. Then I had a pint of the saskatoon ale, which they don't always have in stock but I always enjoy, partly because my parents have a saskatoon berry farm, so I always enjoy the flavour. My only complaint is that they have short hours, and don't open until 3 o'clock. Oh well, it probably encourages me to spend a little more time on my schoolwork. Also, it would be nice if they had food, but I got a chicken burger from A & W on the way home.

The Growlery is my go to spot. The 1929 Kolsche in my opinion is the best beer in the city. Steve kills it behind the bar. Dope atmosphere dope people. Check it out.

I've become a regular at The Growlery because the beer is amazing (the water is pretty good too!) and the staff is fantastic. It's a very comfortable, welcoming place to just sit at the bar (or a table) and the staff are always happy to have a conversation with you.The music is usually pretty great too!

Great brewery with friendly staff. They don’t charge an arm and a leg for a pint like some other breweries. They have specials on certain days throughout the week. The bartender Kelly is awesome, top notch service, he makes everyone feel welcome, he’s the best.

Great brewery in a newer neighborhood over by the old downtown airport. They have over 10 beers on taps. Offer flights as well as 10oz and 16oz beers. Also sell a few snacks from local places that make them. Lots of parking and outdoor seating as well. Personal choice was the kolsch.

A local brewery located in Blatchford. A good selection of craft beers, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. Tried a flight which is a sample of four beers. Limited snack selection. Tables set up outside so a great place to enjoy a beer on a nice evening.
