I joined the public service sufficiently bilingual to pass the second language exams, but like many, there was still work to do to improve. I have taken many maintenance classes before where I didn’t feel that I was learning or improving. LRDG has completely changed my perspective.The mix of online exercises with one-on-one sessions has greatly improved my fluency. The oral exams at the end of each module also provide an opportunity to check in and identify areas of further improvement as you move through the modules.I highly recommend LRDG to all those looking to improve their French language skills. The tailored learning programs allow you to focus on areas of importance to you while improving your overall fluency. This is, by far, the best experience that I have had taking French courses.

I have had several French teachers at different schools but it takes a special teacher to understand the core that is missing and 'my tutor' from LRDG honed in on this right away. She helped build my confidence and gave me a framework via the LRDG Modules to anchor my learning and develop my style. For this I am forever indebted to my teacher and her patient and motivational teaching style.The modules cover all the basics and augments the knowledge at every level. Real pedagogical knowledge went into creating the online platform. No pain no gain and one must want to do the work and if one is consistent the results are simply amazing.Every person that I have been in contact with at LRDG is so professional and helpful. No matter what the query I felt safe to ask and receive prompt assistance.LRDG is 'the' one-stop shop in my humble opinion.

Excellent program! This is the correct way to learn. It covers grammar, vocabulary and useful expressions. It uses a conversational-based approach. There are a lot of opportunities to practice - it is bit of an immersion with a lot of support. My tutor is amazing, patient and knowledgeable. Best of all she genuinely wants me to do well. She takes the time to ensure that I understand the concepts. It is clear that she is passionate about tutoring. I improve with every module. Each module is challenging enough to push me to improve, but not too challenging to be overwhelming - great program!

LRDG is offers second language tutoring from only the highest qualified instructors. They really do help ensure a student will pass the required government second language tests on the first attempts. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience at LRDG! The online platform is very easy to use and extremely helpful. There are countless resources to draw from and the staff will go out of their way to make sure you’re getting everything you need. The tutors are also incredible and really nice! It’s a great way to learn a new language if you want to take your time and do it properly, modules are clearly structured and easy to follow. If you do the work you’ll improve your skills so much without even realizing it!

I have done various language trainings in an effort to secure a C for a few intensive sessions now (without success), but LRDG brought me back to the basics with a detailed, ground-up sort of approach to the French language building blocks I had one, forgotten, but secondly, something that no other language schools have interest in! I appreciated learning progressively through modules that focused on certain verb tenses and specific subjects in helping me as a student master incrementally the French concepts and gathering ideas and the ability to articulate and share opinions. Other language schools gear you towards memorizing content and using verb tenses / thought processes you likely aren't quite comfortable with yet. LRDG uses a wholistic approach that gradually builds confidence and your ability to communicate effectively, using key concepts learnt. I will never go to an intensive here's your answer

I approached the LRDG through my place of work with the Federal Government of Canada. My aim was/is to polish up my French which is at an advanced intermediate level, and fine tune" it from the point of view of grammar. LRDG has done a wonderful job of arranging what is needed for me to attain my objective. My tutor (I am not sure whether I can name her in a public forum like this) is excellent

Very thorough and detailed French training that progresses in a logical manner. The curriculum itself is engaging with quizzes, activities, and dialogue sections. It is set up in a way that is challenging but also approachable, and always rewarding.I've had great experiences working with my tutor. Our sessions are always catered towards specific areas of focus, and my tutor always provides the advice and feedback I need, as well as helpful tips I wouldn't have thought of. Although my French was already pretty advanced, it has improved immensely since starting with LRDG, particularly with regard to vocabulary and verbal communication skills.I'd recommend LRDG to anyone seeking a comprehensive language learning experience and ongoing one-on-one support. LRDG approaches language learning from all angles. It's clear that helping people to communicate more effectively and enriching their professional and personal lives is their main objective!

Highly recommend LRDG for French language learning. The learn-on-your-own online modules give lots of flexibility for professionals, parents and busy people... and when combined with weekly one-on-one tutoring, you also get the accountability and personal experience that you can't get with an app.
