Our Landlord originally hired this business to get a drain pipe blockage cleared and to quote to remove and close off an old drain pipe that was causing problems that was no longer used. He had to come back on a later date to do the quote. Had an appointment 8am on a Monday with Mark, and he didn’t get there until 9:45am. Once he did arrive he inspected the pipe of concern, and then mentioned he needed to get parts in the city. We then rebooked for him to arrive the following Saturday “first thing” to actually do the work. He called us that Saturday morning and informed us he had not picked up the parts needed for the job yet and that his possible eta was closer to 11am, then someone from his company phoned us (maybe his wife?) again before 11am and tell us he had been delayed in Edmonton and now it was going to be a 2 week wait before he could make it to us. We didn’t want to wait the two weeks so we had contacted a new plumber.Mark Hanly owner of “The Hanlyman” is very unprofessional and not reliable at all. If you need plumbing work done phone Total Plumbing out of Westlock, they called back and got us a quote the same day.

After calling every plumbing company in town and not even having the calls get answered I called mark and he picked up right away. Within 2 days of calling he was at the house and had my drain line cleared. He even send a video of the inside of the pipe to look at. Very impressed with the work and professionalism.

Mark was great to work with! He was professional, helpful and was able to fix our frozen septic pipes despite the challenges the the old cabin through at him. He was fun to work with and help out and we had fun doing it. The price was very reasonable and I would absolutely use Mark again. I have shared his name with all my friends.Chris

I have a property in the area near where Hanleyman services operate and wanted to give a local the opportunity to replace my hot water tank. After being canceled 4 times for various (my dog ate my homework) reasons, I literally had no other option but to look for a different tradesman to do the work if I wanted it done before winter. I do realize the industry is busy, but if it couldn’t be done in a timely fashion ( we’re going on a month) then the job shouldn’t have been taken.

Terrible! First contacted Mark on Nov 9TH. He canceled 4 appointments which were set up days/weeks in advance. It’s now December 22 and he canceled again this morning.I used him about 2 years ago and he was professional and did a great job.I’m not sure what happened since as it’s very apparent his service And customer care have gone down hill.

Absolutely amazing, showed up as planned to accommodate my schedule on a Saturday early evening, to repair my main water line. The poor set up literally fall apart in “the handyman’s “ hand ; he was cool and clam the whole time, even cracking jokes - awesome!. There was water everywhere! and he totally repaired the line in action. He also helped me keep the line thawed with his advise until he was scheduled to come out, just awesome. I’m so grateful and happy to now know the handyman and that he came out to CALLING LAKE for services. I totally recommend the handyman’s services and will use him again. THANK YOU

Mark was amazing and never gave up on my situation. Had the plugged sewer line from hell. Mark had all the right tools to get it done. My plumbing situation was also a mess and Mark brought it to code. He is my plumber of choice and if you want it done professionally he is the pro.

Really great at the job and really cares about customers. Had a rough job over here with our septic tank being frozen and handled it like a pro. Thank you hanlyman!!
