Gurus Cell Phone Repairs

My phone suddenly stopped working and would not turn on/charge so I went to a cell phone repair store. guru cell service offered to try and get my phone working again and save the data as mentioned on the website they said you don't have to pay if it doesn't work. However, this was not the case I had to pay $95 without them being able to repair my phone neither could the iCloud data be backed up. I also had to leave my phone there overnight and they said they would call me back when they had checked the phone but this did not happen I had to call several times to get any information at all when I was there I was put off again and had to wait a long time to get my phone back at all. I am clearly disappointed with the communication as well as the service in general. Also, I have to mention that they try to evade tax by offering a better deal if you pay cash. I would definitely go to another more reputable cell phone repair store to get the phone repaired

I got my iPad repaired recently. Well to be honest I was satisfied with the service though, but not cheap by any means. Double checked the prices they charged me for their service, it was way too too much . Well still happy..

Gobi here helped me put on a protector for my iphone 13 pro. Perfect clean and nicely done. He also mentioned about the privacy screen protector which I never knew about! Well upgraded now!! Thanks to Gobi!

Would NOT recommend this business to anyone wanting to fix their tablet computers. I took my Windows Surface laptop there to replace the battery inside the screen after they said they did that kind of work. First, it took them months to do it, with us being ghosted a few times when we called to get updates. In the end, they used the wrong glue in the screen - it was separating again after a few months -, they broke the start and volume buttons when they re-installed the screen, they ruined the camera - became foggy with hairs and specs of dust everywhere to the point that it was unusable. And to top everything up, the battery they replaced only worked for a few months so I had to keep the laptop plugged in all the time. There was a power outage recently and the computer wouldn't boot up because the broken start and volume buttons were permanently down, preventing the computer to boot-up properly. Had to take the computer to another place to get it fixed in order to access the data. Do not trust your tablet computers with these folks!

Came to repair my Playstation 2. Dropped off and was contacted with updates to my repair and when it was ready to pick up. Very reasonable price and fast service. Also came with 30 day warranty which is great. Definitely recommend.

I was interested in switching to an iPhone from a Samsung device. I came across Guru’s, and the team was extremely helpful and provided outstanding customer service. I was able to trade in my Samsung and they helped me transfer all of my data over to the iPhone. They even called me the day after to ensure that I was happy with the whole process and with my new phone. Highly recommend them! Will definitely be back. All of their products are fairly priced too.

I was very close to buying a phone, and then suddenly a customer who walked into the store after me walked right up to the desk even though it was my turn. Instead of completing my transcation, the worker start looking at that person's phone. Maybe the worker was just trying to be nice to everyone. But it's important to finish one person's transaction before letting customers walk up to the desk whenever they feel like it. I was in the middle of speaking to the worker when the customer walked to the front desk.

Very pleased with the prompt friendly service. I was able to have my sister's old phone checked out (the microphone had not been working) and was told if they cleaned it, it'd be free. Otherwise, $85 for a new microphone. They cleaned it, and was working! Very pleased, I asked them to unlock it. It was done promptly and ready for me the next day. I certainly would recommend this place in Surrey.

The service was great and fast. Gopi fixed my phone in 30 minutes. I would recommend this place to everyone.
