Staying in Barrhead for work so I was able to try almost all of the restaurants and hands down, Laura’s steakhouse was the best. Gives you a feeling of grandmas home cooked meals. And not to mention, the best pricing around.

I won’t be going to this restaurant again unfortunately. I ordered the steak from the lunch menu. For 18.95 I figured it would come with fries and a salad as the menu gives you a choice of 4 items. Fries, coleslaw garden or Caesar. My mistake for thinking a diner in Barrhead might have better prices than the city. I got charged extra for the salad because I also asked for fries. Went up to 20.95. The fries are tasteless and dry. Just so everyone knows…for 25.00 at Original Joes in Stony Plain you can get a steak sandwich with “2” side dishes and the fries and dill dip is awesome. Much better food and atmosphere for the price.

The food reminds me of when I was a kid and would go to a restaurant with my parents. Nothing super fancy but delicious food and great prices.
