TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

Multiple problems with this branch. Tailor closed All-inclusive account. Right away opened All-includive and tells me I have to pay $30 for the old (closed) account.Same tailor in the process converted my debit card into investment card and locked it by mistake. No one in the whole branch could unlock it.After I left the branch 2-3 hours later, I was still left on my own to set up recurring payments I had in place from my old checking account. I did it online which by default now selected my next alpahabetically Hi-interest saving account (with $20 on balance). I set recurring to transfer $25 WEEKLY. I did not notice and couple of months later my new checking account was charged with a large sum of money - all bank fees!!! because the left out alone $20 hi-interest account WEEKLY created $48 NSF fees accrued there.So, I understand it's clients mistake but if I left to finish branch work at home and the online system allowed NSF from it's own TD recurring transactions it's to me is bank does not care about me. Oh, I tried to talk to the bank they said only 1 NSF can be undone. But the gorget its their own fees. It didn't even have any safety net to cancel recurring process after a single or multiple attempts and kept doing it until 2 months later it accumulated enough to charge my other account that I actually do use. I find it unacceptable. By default online in recurring it should not select alphabetically. If anything the field had to stay empty. Another safety net: How hard was it for TD to have automatic Email sent to me to inform that there is a single NSF? Instead they send you promotions and enjoy fees on accounts you may not even use because you knew you would not approve 10 NSF from an empty account.Here is another good one. If another financial institution charges you more then usual and you dip below $5000 by 1 cent TD will charge you for current period and next period even if its only 2 days between $5000 balances! The fee is not per month as many may think. Also, even if you have more then one All-inclusive account it only covers itself it will not care how many $5000 portions you got at TD bank. So any institution that you give your bank account information (cellphone/internet provider, florist, gym, another bank, etc) if they happen to take more - TD has no way to limit the amount nor prevent you from going below $5000. So you are risking to those who knows your bank information this deadweight money for nothing.

Staff are kind and friendly. We have been dealing with TD bank and do not have anything bad to say about them. Very accommodating and the branch is always clean.

What is the point of having an ATM machine behind seperate locked doors, just to have it only available during branch hours? Wasted brick and mortar yet they closed the Riverbend branch and leave a whole modified room and entrance for a full branch ATM behind with 24/7 access? Makes no sense at all. Even though it's available during branch hours, still doesn't speed the line up at all. Great bank, horrible branch.

I went there to get advice on how to save then got told I could only invest. I was then given misinformation to try and convince me to invest money in their bank instead of saving. I felt as though I was trying to be sold somthing the entire time I was there, very uncomfortable for a first time person looking for advice on how to save. I later went to a different financial advisor outside of TD and got great help and was never told I don't have enough money. I make 1200 biweekly how can I not have enough money to invest and save? Don't waste your time investing in the bank especially this branch.

TD is trash. I like RBC way better. Thanks for closing my account TD with no given explanation. Again TD is TRASH !!

The staff are kind and friendly especially bank teller Oksana , she’s kind and patient with customersOne issue about this branch is small and crowded sometimes stuck waiting in a slow moving line and few banker

Service isn't great. The odd time you'll get a good staff member but TD has really gone down hill. The drive through ATM on portage was having issues and the call center was a crazy long wait so I tried talking to this branch to see if they had any tips and the lady said it's not our problem. Go wait on hold with general assistanc . Turns out that machine has tons of issues and TD just doesn't care to maintain it. They berated us for not knowing the address of it when their own google listing is wrong. Then proceeded to waste 3 hours of our time dealing with staff that barely speak english and don't know what they're doing. Definitely switching banks.

The service I got was exceptional, she knew what she was doing.

This is a bank in an older area. Has a great variation of people using it. But the staff often new at their job are terrific. They are polite and respectful to all seniors new Canadians business people and all others. Hats off to them all.

I visited this branch yesterday to open my dad’s visitor account and I had enough address proofs to provide them. But guy on information counter totally refused and said we open account only for PR’s. I know TD open accounts for students and Foreign workers as well. But it seems like he didn’t want to work and gave me totally ridiculous answer and said only PR’s. Even I have personal and business account with TD and I am going to close my both accounts with TD.
